Update we think the boat hydrolock. Can anyone tell em how to fix it?
Hopefully you have insurance sounds like its time to put in a claim

This happens at least a dozen times a year on this site alone, of reported boats that somehow fill the engine bay with water. There is a simple device that would have given you an alarm why these are not mandatory is truly bizarre. This technology is so cheap and has saved my own boat.

Any one reading this buy them and test it each time you peak in the engine compartment hang the sensor about 1-2'' above the bilge pump if it gets above the pump you know there is an issue that needs immediate attention.
