Thinking about putting new props on my 2007 AR210. Does anyone know the stock pitch or have used either of these? Oddly I already have one YS-CD-13/19 sitting in the box that I tried on a ski. I was pulling 8500rpm's with stock props so I wonder if it would be able to go with YS-DF-14/21's and gain a little top end.

@not2fast This is the best I could ever find. Looks like you would need 6S8-02 Port and 6S8-10 Strbd - see the pitch in the table (for OEM impellers).
Hope it helps!

Looks like this is the one I need. looks like 1.6 degree difference on starboard vs port.

Looking yamaha stock pitch vs solas recommendation it almost seems like the YS-CD-13/22 might be the best choice. I actually have a pair of stock FZR props sitting my garage. Maybe I should just pitch them and see how they work.

Order a pitch gauge. I will have to start researching how to pitch them. I should have done this a long time ago with all of the PWC I have owned over the last 4 years.

I think a pitch gauge is kind of a waste of money, albeit not very expensive. At the end of the day, a ruler, a sharpie, and a flat surface is all you need - for testing your impellers while you re-pitch - as you can not directly compare the pitch of different models, the pitch means nothing. If you really want to get it right, it is always an iterative process: bend, test, repeat, LOL.
I'm sure you have seen these:

Thanks, I have seen those. Picked up a $30 pitch gauge. I figured I should get the right tool for the job. Solas props are not known to have accurate pitching from the factory which didn't bother me on jetskis much if I got the performance I wanted. If I was really particular I would just send it to Dean to have him pitch it for his tunes. I am thinking I will end up getting Solas props in the end because when I have used them I can feel the difference.

I'm watching!
My understanding is that Solas can be a great replacement for MR-1 OEM impellers. The only issue is with some batches that were disintegrating - I think @dan144k had one. I've never had an MR-1 boat, yet!

The 1.8 OEM impellers (different shaft) are very hard to beat though, as they have the longest blades.

I have the solas 14/20 and empty it got me 52 mph from 48ish but now that i have added a tower, speakers, subs, etc etc i think the 13/19 would have been better. My oem were chewed up very badly

This is my first time dealing with MR-1's so we will see.

I have heard about the disintegrating Solas props. I have heard it is more common on 160mm props. Out of the 6 or more that I have bought, I have not had an issue.

Usually, I would replace stock props because of cavitation on ski's and it would fix it and add a little on the top end. I would be happy if it added a little of both to my AR210.

That is rare in 155 pumps, and think the batches that were bad have been identified: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=250828&page=26

Here is @dan144k's thread, good read, lol

I would be interested in your props if you look to go to 13/19. I trade you 1 13/19 plus cash for a pair of your 14/20's I think the 14/20's with less RPM might be the right prop for MR-1 with 110hp.

I think 14/20 is too much prop for the 110 hp mr1. It's too much for my 160!
The problem will be that each revolution will push the same amount of water (theoretically) so i think that the power still needs to be there to turn it. This is what torque is! The torque might be the same on the lower rpm of the 110 hp engine but i doubt it.
The 160 mr1 has 1052 cc and the 110 has 998cc which doesn't seem like much but adds up for these small motors!
I have been wrong befor but i would just not want you having too much impeller.
Besides, i knew it was a bit much pitch for my boat but hoped i would somehow make more power to push it which never happened.

Actually 110hp are 1052cc like 160hp. The 140hp are 998cc. Solas recommends 14/20 for 110hp and 13/19 for 140hp.

Well I now have both of my orginal FZR props and my prop gauge. I will to check the pitch on them after I get my other projects done. (Upgraded SC Wheel on my FZR)

Looked at one blade on my 2013 FZR prop. It looks like it is an 11/20 pitch. I will have to check all the blades and compare it to my other prop 2009 FZR prop. Doing some research they should all be 12/20 pitch. I have another prop that is off a 2008 FX SHO. That also is supposed to be the same so I am planning to take the best of the 3 and try them out next spring. The YS-CD-13/19 prop I have might just have to be sold.

I was pulling 8500rpm's with stock props
My '06 has never seen anything above 8000-8200 (max) on either engine with the stock impellers. What are these spec'ed out to run @ WOT for RPM's from the factory? I pulled my pumps this fall and all the blade edges are clean and smooth still, no damage.

I was thinking of getting new ones, but after seeing how mint they are I tossed that thought.

Not sure or am I confident the RPM tachs are any more accurate than the waverunners tachs. I have always had good luck putting Solas props on and getting better holeshot and top end on my Waverunners. I would expect the same thing here. I am curious what kind of shape the props in it are. I only got the boat out twice before putting it in winter storage. Loved it. I can't wait to next May.

I have decided I probably won't do anything this summer. I sold my FX and have been playing with my FZR over the winter. I really want a GP1800, but have a ton going on that it might be a 2019 thing.
