And, not to alarm you, just for the peace of mind - I would check the anchor locker drain when you get a chance. In some of the new 210/212s - it is installed incorrectly and can leak water into the double hull. Easy fix, if you see the white plastic drain insert loose inside the anchor locker, seal it up with 3M 5200. There are several posts here on this topic.

Check your under seat carpets in the bow of the boat. @Brian eilrich has the same boat and the carpets got soaked every time due to the anchor drain issue.
Did you wife feel the passengers chair was too high? It seems to me it puts you up above the windshield and into the wind. Probably an easy fix.
You guys are going to have fun with your kids and grandkids this summer.

I plan on double checking the anchor drain issue today. As for my wife...she was reclined the entire time so I didn't hear any complaints about being above the windshield... I plan on checking it though for sure.

Ha! I looked at the same picture and felt entirely different. When we were looking at 20+ Scarabs, as much as I loved their head compartment door/access, I felt it was really obstructing the co-captain's/passenger view. So, looking at the pic above (212X), I though - "oh, how cool, the co-captain can see out front!", not just stare at the head comp door.

Wonder if it really matters though, most of the time the co-captain will not sit strait anyway.
