My brother keeps asking if we can stop in the middle of the crossing to troll for fish! I keep saying "no!" Is he the only one thinking this?

Larger boats often troll the crossing. I am hopeful we will be going too fast to troll but there is plenty of opportunity to run back out once we get there safely and unload the extra weight from the boats.

These should get him excited

Here is another update from Bimini Sands

Bimini Sands is pleased to announce our official tournament director Captain Chase Camacho. Wahoo tourney dates set for October 19-21 and February 1-3. He Brings years of tournament experience. In addition, he will be stationing a 57' viking, "chase your dream" for the month of June at Bimini Sands for customers who want to charter offshore fishing.

There is a new artificial reef in Bimini. The details I have are a little sketchy at the moment but the reef will be called Coach Sugar Reef and will be composed of various sunken vessels in 85' of water at the north end of Bimini.

Neil Watson captured and posted this video of one of the vessels making her way to the reef.

I may be available depending on my school schedule but this may need a seperate thread. I know we had a group last year so may be able to tag those guys. @Benny Sibbitt @BigJay17 @fairpilot and I think a few others have more knowledge about the area also.

True but i live like 15 mins from tje sand bar. Once i saw a drunk plow into a few boat i figured it was time to go
