I did the crossing alone and let's just say there is a lot of blue water!!!! Depth finder on my boat and gps went "22 feet 44 feet 69 feet 107 feet 233 feet 344 feet and then 400 blinked until I got close to Bimini... but wanting to go again, I am doing the trip with this jet ski group on here and may do one with a face book scarab group but they are not giving me all the details... for some reason..

Anywhere.... i have 2 jet skis coming with me and hopefully another boat they just confirmed today, the more people the better

@Tony C. - Is the 21st still your planned launch day?
I have the wife sold on the trip, but the logistics keep getting into the way. I can't make the official trip and I won't get back home till the 21st. Really trying to make it over to paradise - but would like to make the trip with at least one other boat.
Solo tripping on our first crossing seems like a recipe for disaster.

Where do you leave from? I'd love to take the family but the organized week long excursion doesn't work with our schedules. Your time frame sounds just right.

Mark - I run out of Black Point all the time -- If you want to do that trip again last minute let me know -- I'll load the old lady and dip the boat and meet you at the end of that ridiculously long channel. LOL!

PS we went out that weekend -- it was super flat I ran all over the place with the Throttle's maxed. very fun. lol.

Ps watch out for the police, litterally the other weekend was a shit show! I do dry stack... but they were ticketing everyone for the dumbest things!

Harbour Towne in Fort Lauderdale is $15 a day for parking with 24/7 security.

This past memorial day weekend was a shitshow bro... I got there at 0800 and the ramp was slammed and closed. Left the next morning, Sunday at 0600. SLAMMED again. Wonder why the county cant invest in a bigger parking lot. Not like they don't get 17 dollars a pop to sit on a freaking 8x20' chunk of pavement for maybe 8 hours. Cheap a$$hats.

I've never had a problem with the police thou -- usually I don't even see em. I was stopped one time down in the Gulf for being in a protected grassy bed area. But I just waved my Federal I.D. and the NPS guys went away. lol.

My boyfriend and I have 2 jet skis and are wanting to go over late June or July! We will be driving to Miami from Wilmington, NC and would love to meet up with others to go over if anyone is interested? We at least want to stay for a few to several days not just one or two! Please let me know so we can finalize plans! Thanks

Are you and your wife still planning this trip? My boyfriend and I are wanting to go on the jet skis and are looking to go with some others but the other group in July is too large!

There is safety in numbers and even more in experience. We will be splitting the July group up into groups of less than 10 for the actual crossing. Please remember that as amazing as Bimini is it is not worth becoming one of the people who die on the crossing.
