2007 AR 230 Ballast bag Freshwater/Washdown

Hello all,
I figured i would do a writeup on this since its a little different than what has been done. However, i did use alot of ideas from other members such as @Bruce for pump/ shower options etc. I wanted to have a freshwater shower and washdown when we are done. We mainly boat is a saltwater environment.

Below is a picture of how i mocked the pump for trials. Notice Water Hose fitting to attach a hose for clean up after fun in the sun



This is a Fly High X series Ballast bag, not sure of size, either 375lbs or 400. so freshwater at 8.3 lbs per gallon either 45 gallons or 48 gallons of water.



These are the fittings that matched the threads in the bag perfectly, despite the company telling me they were specially cut for thier fittings only. The bag on the right

Update,
We have used the setup about 8 times so far. It is great to have the engines flushing while you can use the water in the ballast bag to finish washing the boat down. I have never been conservative with the water to see if we would run out. Usually from a day on the water, and everyone taking a shower every time they get back onboard, & washing down boards, etc we have over 1/2 a bag of water left.
