Still a list of things that I want to do (sea dek, thrust vectors, stereo remote, the list goes on). But, I figured this will show what I've done and can get suggestions on what should be next!

I would highly recommend the Seadek upgrade. It changes the whole feel of the interior of the boat. I picked up a full set during the 2016 group buy. Hopefully it comes around this year too. The best bang for the buck mod is the plastic bag holder...double thumbs up on that. Followed closely by the db651 Polk speaker upgrade. I was on a brand spankin new 2017 242 Limited last weekend and noticed it had the same Polks all the way around.

I picked up a Rtic Softpak 40 that fits perfectly under the rear seats...very pleased with that addition. Great cooler.

A waketower is next on my list. I have struggled with the waketower addition this summer. I tried a Reborn Launch but had to return it. Partly due to some faulty craftsmanship and partly due how the top of the fiberglass slopes down toward the back of the boat which made the top of the tower sit at an odd angle. I just can't stomach the price of the Yamaha tower and don't like the thought of a side mount tower. Search will continue.

Thanks! I really like the Sea dek so that will be the next big purchase, but it's just so hard to rationalize when the carpet is still in good shape. I've looked into a few "Monster" brand collapsible towers that look good. I'd probably go that route and install it myself so I could add an extra plate under the base. I have also looked at getting the yeti 45 for under the seat. I'll post future upgrades here.

FYI, I looked into a tower earlier this year for my SX190 and Monster had one that would work! The back was longer than the front but they only had it in black and of course I wanted silver. As the window trim on my SX190 was silver. They said they were not making these any more but had some black ones left over. If you want black I would contact them asap, as like I said I guess they are not making these anymore.

SCP1 - Do you recall which model monster tower? Was it the MTK? That looks like the only forward-swept tower on their website.

Yep, MTK. You need to call and ask as they don't show it on their website, with the longer back.

Any tips on how to install the rear facing speakers?
The wiring is easy because there is plenty of room in those back compartments. I used a drill to create the starter hole and then a dremel with a cutting bit to make the larger hole. Then sealed the speaker and each screw with sealant.

No, I have a 2nd battery for long weekends when I don't have access to recharge the battery but want to run the stereo a lot. The 400W amp makes a big difference for the price. Just buy the AMP instal kit from Boss and you're good to go!

About how long do you think the radio can run without a recharge on one battery?

With batteries there is no easy answer as it depends on the size and type. Is it a 24/27? A deep cycle or starting? But also, the age, and condition play a big role. If it's a brand new 27DC it should be able to play for 8-10 hours no problem.

If you're like me and boat during the week and in less traveled waterways where getting a tow is probably not going to happen just add a second batter and you' won't even have to think about the what ifs.

if your battery is in good working order and receiving full charge you could do some calculations about AmpHours supplied by battery vs AmpHours draw of your stereo/amp. However to keep it simple, if you store the boat at home simply turn on the radio in the driveway/garage and let it play until drains the battery. Or attach a cheap LED battery voltage meter to the battery so you can keep an eye on the voltage while you listen to the radio. If it's a good battery it should last surprisingly long with a small 400 watt amp.

Nice gives me lots of ideas for my 190, what is the Ribbon delete???
It's the flame arrestor located inside the throttle body. You can see how restrictive it is in his pic. Removing it improved throttle response and a little RPM for me with my 192. Some of the 1.8L guys say it gives them 1-2 mph but I did not see those mph gains with my supercharged engine.

I want to purchase the part at Riva to remove the flame arrestor. Can I go into the Riva location or would I have to purchase it online?

What is the replacement part called?

This is the sleeve http://rivaracing.com/i-14305221-riva-yamaha-svho-sho-ho-intake-manifold-upgrade-kit.html

Note that you don't 'have' to use a sleeve if you remove the ribbon. Main thing is to not leave the rubber gasket in the throttle body if you do remove just the ribbon. If you use the RIVA sleeve you will reuse the rubber gasket to hold the sleeve in place inside the throttle body. That being said I went with the RIVA sleeves on my 192 just because I wanted a straight path for the air to flow.

Do you know if I can buy this at the riva dealer or is this an online only thing?
