Took the boat out yesterday, and apparently I didn't crank the winch down to the last click. Resulting in these two rubs on each side of the keel. Looks to me like the wings on the roller rubbed some of the gelcoat off and resulting in a pitting affect. Any ideas on how to proceed.

Go back out and enjoy her. Those are harmless.

You could install a Bowshield or similar product to cover the area or deepen the damage and use Spectrum Paste to rebuild the gelcoat.

Thanks Bruce, I was hoping my negligence in not insuring the bow wasn't tight against the stop wouldn't be to costly.

$30 for a bowsheild if you like the look and utility or $20 for Spectrum Paste.
