SOLD SOLD: Transportation East Cost to Texas ?

I bought a tower in PA and I need to get it to Texas. If anyone is planing to make a drive from PA to Texas or close enough to Texas and space for a tower please let me know. I will to pay up to $300 for the transfer.

If on the other hand someone has an item that can fit on an F150, I will be more than willing to play transporter for you. I could probably tow up to a 6,000lbs as well. I just hate to have drive the truck to PA just for my tower.

Did you try uShip? I have not personally used them, but they seem to be very popular and I have heard good things.
I'm sure someone here would know.

Try Fastenal. If the seller in PA has a Fastenal near him/her, they can ship between Fastenal stores. I ordered a custom bumper for my offroad truck and I saved $100's by shipping thru Fastenal.

Check out uship. Some members have shipped their boats through them. On tv, I can’t remember the name of the reality show, the transporters won their business through reverse online auctions.

LOL. He actually volunteered to tow a boat fro me from GA to Texas. This is a just a tower though and I dont want to weight down his F250 diesel. LOL

Note: I am working to find a way to manage the tower transported in/on my Prius.

Fastenal is awesome. I shipped a palleted diesel motor from ohio to Oklahoma for 150 dollars @Betik
now all my large freight will go through them. btw @jeff_s is the winner.

That must be their standard rate. I just asked for a quote on a 500# crate with a hunting trophy from Dallas to Enid, OK and they quoted me the same.

it's a pretty good business model, somebody else has to do the local pick/delivery from the Fastenal store, they have trucks moving their inventory anyways and your shipment gets bumped until they have room on the truck, so they're just filling up empty space.

Yep , I have shipped multiple things this way. It's crazy, I found out from the guy I bought the isuzu npr diesel motor off of ebay. It' not the fastest way but it certainly is the cheapest. 150 for a couple extra days compared to 800 in 3 to 4 days. It took 7 days on the motor. 4 days on a piece that I shipped to Wisconsin.

thank you for all the idea guys/girls. Based on your suggestions, I was able to leverage Uship and I ended up getting the tower from PA to TX for FREE
Not only yall are good at making me spend money on the boat, but yall are good at making me save money on other non boat stuff.
