I always try to stress that it's DIFFERENT, not BETTER or WORSE.

I have a certain set of skills and traits that are partly learned and partly what I was born with. I'm actually the 4th generation of mechanics, engineers and guys that made a living making things with their hands. My son is generation number 5 for me, he's a mechanical engineer and was obviously born with those skills in his blood too. I can picture a completed project or part I'm making in my head and it magically comes out my hands. I can build anything from a house to an electronic device. And put me on a dirtbike and even at 55 years old I'll kick some serious @ss! And I have a ton of tools because my job and hobbies require those tools.

But there's plenty of things you guys no doubt can do WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY better than me. I can't draw worth a damn. Stick people at best. I can't sing and I can't dance. I suck at math, my mind just wasn't wired to understand the principles of mathematics. I can remember my 2nd or 3rd grade teacher telling my mom that she wasn't going to move me to the next grade unless I could memorize my multiplication tables. My brain simply does not remember numbers. I don't know if my mom had to pay off that teacher or something, but I never did learn those stupid times tables! If you tell me your name, I will forget it immediately. I also hate to cook. Raw food pretty much makes me gag! Oh and I suck at golf, football and basketball. I do alright with tennis or soccer. Not a natural swimmer either.
