Where did you find the rod holder that fits the diameter of the Bimini top pipe diameter

I store our magma grill in its case, all the way aft in starboard cockpit storage, fits well there and does not move.

@weaselman You forgot the @ before my name, barely stumbled upon your message :). I got the rod holder from eBay. Get the right size for your tower. It fits secure but wouldn't trust it in choppy water.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Installed my rod holder today while I had everything open due to a stock scupper replacement with Atwood stainless steel.
Kuuma propane 160 with articulating mount and 30 degree rod holder.

Damm the fiberglass is thick in this Corner of the swim deck. Was kinda suprized to find wood sandwiched between: so I fiberglass resined my hole edges and then used 4200 before I seated the rod holder.

For those curious, the magma shelf fits fine on the Kuuma. I didn't like the size of the Kuuma shelf.

Nice work @bobbyc . Saying it and doing it could not be more different when it comes to drilling holes in your boat.

@bobbyc what is this articulating mount you speak of? Love your setup! I also have the Kuuma and love the shelf attachment. I'm going to have to look at that.

do you guys see any issue with the swim deck mounts and say surfing where the boat is listing and the mount may stay underwater? Thinking of going with that approach

the older generations had the floor mount on the lower deck. on my AR230, that wood was pressure treated plywood and held up well, even though the wood wasn't sealed where the hole was drilled at the factory. another option is the vertical-surface mounts Yamaha switched to (google "Garelick side mount" for an example) - but make sure the area is strong enough or reinforce it with a backer-plate.
