Has anyone ever run weather stripping around the rim of the compartments in the front under the front seats? Been in the rain a few times and those compartments have become completely saturated. Didn’t know if there was a way to divert water away from this area we have towels in there and they all were completely soaked.

Are you sure it's the seat cushions letting the water in. The drink cup holders have a drain hole at the bottom which drains into that compartment too.

In a heavy downpour water definitely gets around the front seats into the storage areas. The cup holder drains don't help but there's a lot more water and it's in a lot more places then the cup holders would cause. Not sure if it's running around the edge of the cushions and down or if the built in drainage channel is overflowing. If it's like the rest of the bow area the built in channels may not even have positive/downhill drainage when the boat sits in the water. About the only thing that stays really dry in a downpour on my boat is the head.

Yeah and my model 212 the console and front compartments are connected. Maybe I’ll try some nice thin weather stripping to encourage some water to not run under the cousins.
