I’m a Boliermaker and prefer not to discuss our bowl game; but sitting in the heart of Clemson country here in SC, I think the Tigers did a phenominal job against an amazing team and “program” tonight. Congrats to them and all of the alumni fans who kept me up late tonight.

Every possession Bama had I said welp here it comes, they're gonna come back and whoop Clemson........and it just never happened. Clemson seemed ready to play, and Bama just expected they were going to out muscle them. Tua seemed very out of sync. I'm an ACC guy having graduated from NC State, and was pulling for Clemson. Everything I saw during the season in Tua just wasn't really there last night. Can't blame it all on him, he hit his receivers hands a couple times and they just dropped the ball......literally and figuratively.

Hats off to Trevor Lawrence. Kid played an incredible game. His first couple of possessions he seemed a smidge rattled. Some of his passes weren't exactly clean, but his receivers bailed him out. He's going to be a force next year for sure.

I tend to agree with Burns of ESPN. Without that overpowering offensive line, Clemson's stars would have not accomplished a thing. It started in the trenches. Last week against the Irish, #50 totally dominated All American Jerry Tillery. Last night, #50 again dominated the LOS, helping turn the Outland award winner into a fart in the wind, who mouthed off a bunch of excuses for his poor play post-game. To Nick's credit, he took all the blame that his players and coaches were unprepared. Like the Patriots will do this weekend on the pro level, we are witnessing the demise of a college football dynasty. Nick was whipped in every phase of the game, from top to bottom. The Tide will continue to roll, but they no longer roll alone. There is a new game in town, and it is a Tiger.

Clemson is my team. Cant wait for next season. We have room for growth still. Bama sold out to stop the run just like ND did and Lawrence made them pay.

We need to stay focused in back end and make sure we run the ball even though lowrance can make any throw on field.

So much for your Patriots prediction. The Tide will be just fine. They are aren't slowing down in recruiting, as they currently have the #1 2019 class. It's almost impossible to win it every year. I think they needed that loss to bring them back down to earth and give Saban something to spark his team for next year.
