2019 AR240 Oceansouth Bimini Top Extension

Just posting pictures of my Oceansouth Biminin Top Extension. I've seen discussions on this product, but no pictures. The canvas and stitching seems sturdy as are the poles. I already had 30 deg rod holders replacing the rear cup holders so it was an easy install for me. After the initial...

    Front sunshade on my FSH

...wants shade I needed shade. Ordered Yamaha kit with boat, 8 months later there is no clue when it might show up. I used size 6 from Oceansouth. I knew it was too wide in front so I put brass grommets in front edge and let excess just hang. I think size 7 would have been better. As has been...

The oceansouth one really looks like the way to go and just replacing the upper swim platform with 15 degree rodholders. It stinks the bimini on these boats is so short.

Mine came in and is at home depot. I guess I will just return it when I go up there. Going to try the OceanSouth one. Just trying to figure what size to get for my boat. Any final thoughts?

You mention Sunshade yet I cannot find that on their site. is it one of the T-Top Extenders? Do you have a link to the specific product at OceanSouth?

I bought the OceanSouth Sunshade and the Bow Cover. I can tell you they are well made and if anything breaks the world may be ending. The poles are actually SUPER HEAVY and the straps, sewing and materials are amazing. I hope I enjoy them because I'm sure they'll outlive me and my boat.

Ok now I want to see the oceansouth one. I converted the back cup holders to the cup/rod holders so I'm ready to go. I want to see size 5 or 6 on a wake tower boat. I was thinking 6' across the rear bimini shade and extending out 7 or 8 feet but the largest they had was 5' across. Would love to...

I bought the Oceansouth T top shade. It’s a little narrower than I would like in the front but I think I can make it work well. I wanted something longer than their bimini extension to cover the transom area so I got the 5 x 7 x 7 size. It’s really hard to mock up without having rod holders...

Yeah, I see what you are saying. I picked up the one from Home Depot that came, haven't opened the box. Going to get on the boat this weekend in the drive and use a broomstick to determine size and angle and take some measurements. Then most likely order from OceanSouth

How did it work out? Which exact one did you get? Do you have a picture of it on your boat? What is your overall opinion?

...in the lowers but the screw holes did not line up. I just pre drilled them before screwing in. 2017 ar240. I think I'm going to order from Oceansouth. I was looking under the hardtop section for a bigger shade, possibly size 9 or 10. I'm going to drop a couple broom sticks in there to measure...

I have two items in my online OceanSouth cart but have to choose one before pulling the trigger. I'm trying to decide between the Bimini extension (Chris D posted 3 great pics HERE) and the T-top extension, which LOOKS like it could also easily attach to an AR190's factory bimini BUT comes in...

Looking at the pictures on T-Top & Boat Top Extensions | Oceansouth website, it indicates that you put the back two poles in rod holders. On my AR210 I don't have those. So has anyone with a non FSH boat used these and can explain what they did with the back poles? Pictures would be...

HangOutdoors Thanks for sharing this link- the 2.5 rating (along with all the pics of broken equipment) convinced me to spend a lil more $$ and go with the OceanSouth product (4.4 rating on Amazon if we're comparing 🍎 to 🍎) Chris D posted (w/pics) about here: Bimini extension
