    I was definitely thinking something different lol - that's a lot of salt. Though the anodes last a really long time. I'd maybe have a back up pair and do a visual check occasionally.

    Oil change every 100 hours, just change spark plugs while extracting oil. I'd have bigger concerns of where to dump the oil. I don't even know if I would bother with anodes, you won't be in a ton of salt... plus you would have to pull the boat out of the water. Not sure I'd grease bearing...

    I can't speak for his instance, but I've found this set up is fine for fresh water... not very good with salt, with failures occurring rather quickly.

    We always recommended power first. Either way you will eventually need an amplifier and we have people satisfied with just putting an amplifier on the stock speakers. Something like the Clarion XC2410 300 Watt 4-Channel Class-D Marine Amplifier is a great start with little money spent.

    Yes it works for both 1 and 2. It is a T-Harness so in application 2 you just don’t use the end that would go in the amplifier. You could also cut off the end to sell with your OEM amplifier. We also offer speaker harnesses to make replacing the amp a breeze.

    Wires were hidden as part of the speaker mount design and utilized a grommet that came with it.

    It really depends on the towers. They all have different dimensions and mounting points. On my personal vessel I had to have them mounted below the tower and I placed them so it was very difficult to hit your head on them. Took some time to figure out exact best location.
