    This happened on the water after an hr. Run coming in to port. Eng sounded like it had headers our straight pipes on it and heavy exhaust fumes in Eng compartment.

    I found plug wires from coils 2&3 cyl burned in to insulation and not making contact with plug end connection. Replaced coils and runs almost like new.

    Found cyl 2 and 3 coil wires burned on the inside at plug boot causing very low our no spark. Runs like almost new again after coils replaced.

    Still only 3000 rpm full throttle middle and aft plugs clean no burn like the fwd plug

    Eng passed a compression test 110 psi each cyl seams like very weak spark at plugs when turning over Eng.

    I have an LS 2000 cyl s pass compression ck new plugs installed. Fwd cylinder firing mid rear not makes rpm on land only 3000 in water. Looked at spark across plugs all three very minimal spark cranking on all three plugs. Any thoughts?

    Found an oil line disc from pump for aft cylinder oil issue solved. Good thing is aft cyl and mid cylinder not firing So no cylinder and ring damage I hope. Any way to ck coil packs for an open circuit.

    Similar issue full rpm on land only 3000 on water. Changed plunges and the same issue. my low oil light is flickering on fuel gauge can the circuit have any thing to do with rpm reduction. Our an ignition issue?

    Finely got the shaft out but have to replace the mid shaft assy and a few other parts also have to do a bit of fiberglass repair. Jet drive chined to a tree truck hitched to trailer and there ya go. Any suggestions preventing this issue in the future.

    I pulled the port side jet pump assy it came right out with a slight pull. However still trying to get the starboard side shaft out still hasn’t budged I the Eng mount bolts and opened the Eng to shaft coupling cover there was about a two inch gap between the mid shaft coupling and the mid shaft...

    I do want to do the port side but may be the same issue. I think this boat has never been done before with impeller and ware ring replacement.

    Same trouble I have a chain and a come along pulling on impeller housing. Moves about an inch and a half but when released goes back in place. All my research says nothing retaining the shaft and should slide out from Eng. coupling? Any ideas with this one. Boat is a Yamaha LS 2000 year 2000...
