    Ar240 Bimini top?

What I bought: (I paid $32 each last year.) I would worry that thicker tubing would make the cover rip in the case of a bad wind. But I did think about it. The problem is that going thicker makes the price go up substantially. I had already spent nearly $200 at lowes trying to find poles...

    Ar240 Bimini top?

I had my Mother in Law and wife extend ours last year. I purchased new poles online and cut them to length. The only issue I've had is that i used to leave the bimini to/from launch as one less thing to mess with. But one windy day it bent my poles completely and dorkfished the bimini cover...

Show me your after market trailer rims

after countless threads of looking. These are by far the best looking wheel's i've found so far for a boat. Simple. My f150 has 6 spoke wheels. so it's hard to get "matching" wheels. (I just refurbished them as they were looking damn tired)

Is this the correct wiring for a Shorelander trailer?

FYI, i connected the EB (electronic brake) pin to ground. My dash imediately threw up codes etc about bad trailer wiring, but it did detect that a trailer was attached. it's beyond annoying b/c my FIL's 2015 f150 hooked up fine today to a 4 pin and detected the trailer.

    Lake Wateree, SC

Anyone able to tell me about boating this lake? We boat Lake Wylie normally but like the idea of an excursion somewhere. Any sandbars? is it Stumpy? (always heard rumors of that.)

Which Stoltz Bow Roller for the 242 Hull?

i dont know, the entire front of my boat is jacked up from the stoltz. I'll try take pictures this weekend but i was very much NOT impressed with how it seems to smear all over the bow everytime.

Anyone know who this guy is? NJ Kayak Rack on the Tower

Really curious about what he's using on the back part of the tower. I'd actually like it for a different purpose. I have a shade cloth I set up on the tower and then use extendable poles and ratchet straps to the tie downs for the boat. Having something like this setup would allow me to...

Changing 5 pin flat connector to 7 pin round...

For my 2014 It does, on the steeringwheel. I'm quite happy to hit it. BUT if I can wire it up correctly and there's no need to hit the button why not? You can only hit after it is in reverse and senses the boat, which usually means the buttons are upside down. as i have the wheel cranked to...

Is this the correct wiring for a Shorelander trailer?

My 2014 F150 has the pop up. IIRC there is a way to get it to show for you. I never use the park sensors but i HATE them. I rewired my trailer to 7 pin in order to try get around this as i've towed other 7 pin trailers and that's turned off the sensors for me. Still looking for a solution...

Changing 5 pin flat connector to 7 pin round...

I did this as well on my 2015 AR240 Trailer. Unfortunately it did not have the intended affect. (I was hoping to s hut off the stupid rear parking sensors. on my 2014 F150. I've towed other 7 pin's before and the truck recognizes them and shuts it off. I could not get the same to happen on...

Hydrophase Ridesteady GPS Speed Control JETBOATERS.NET Member Discount, Jan 2021

The speed portion is what got me. I was not floating in a cove. I'd only think of it when we were cruising. I've only had one day when it was slightly cloudy and I got zero GPS control. Unit showed signal but no speed. (which is how I accidently put it into RPM mode trying to see what was...

    Ecoboost Mileage

Something to think about, are you towing with the cover on? with the windshield closed? i get 14mpg in my 2014 3.5 Ecoboost. (towing in town, no highway). I get 17 mpg daily driving (city traffic) When I used to tow an hour each way, i'd get 8 or 9 mpg. But also had a lot more open highway...

Just curious, thoughts on cutting the line at the ramp?

I'm just tired of kayaker's using the ramps to load and unload when they have a sandy beach on Lake Wylie (south of Charlotte, NC). that and jetskiiers who dawdle to get their car to back up. Watched a guy spend 30 minutes the other day. could not back up that little trailer to save his life...

Hydrophase Ridesteady GPS Speed Control JETBOATERS.NET Member Discount, Jan 2021

Still one of the best things I've ever bought for the boat. Only issue I have is that i feel the interface is a bit difficult to decipher. (the other day I somehow got out of GPS and into RPM control mode and it took me until the next trip out to figure out how to change it back.)

How in the he...? I sucked up a damn log!?

I've stopped on the lake, and had to pull a chunk of 2x4 out. Dock builder must have just tossed it into the lake while building..

    Dual guide posts (two sets)

was thinking of this the other day. with the hill country our ramps are steeper and i've gone over the centering bunks several times after a long day boating.
