One week in a wet slip?

I am a barnacle. I laughed so hard that I was p̶r̶o̶s̶t̶a̶t̶e̶ prostrate.

One week in a wet slip?

This will be mid-coast Maine. Do barnacles also attach/grow inside the cooling system?

    Trailer tire pressure monitoring system

These will; these are internal (inside the tire) sensors from the same company. https://tsttruck.com/collections/all-products/products/507-series-4-internal-sensor-tpms-system-with-color-display Within the commercial trucking and also the RV industry, the premise of a TPMS is broadly...

One week in a wet slip?

Scrubbing? How abrasive is safe with a gelcoat surface (where "scrubbing" for me might be different than what you mean)? Also, do barnacles also attach/grow inside the cooling system? Re. above with the furniture polish...will that prevent the "slime" also?

One week in a wet slip?

Interesting. What kind of furniture polish?

Depth Comm Err- '16 242 LSE- RESOLVED!

That sounds hopeful. Not being a fisher, I really have no need for a sophisticated finder/transducer. I do want the sounder and water temp, and the Simrad forward scan transducer linked to a GO9 XSE with Navionics charts.

Depth Comm Err- '16 242 LSE- RESOLVED!

Hypothetically (if one were going to install a GO12 XSE) would it be possible to somehow split the factory transducer lead to input into the Simrad? I will not be needing fishing style transducers (although I do want a forward scan one) so I would simply like the temp and sounder feature...

    Trailer tire pressure monitoring system

OK, so an area where I might be able to help. I pull a medium weight (17k) 5th wheel. I WILL NOT travel absent a TPMS. I use the TST 507 system (https://tsttruck.com/collections/kits/products/507-series-4-rv-cap-sensor-tpms-system-with-color-display) and it has been flawless for 17k miles of...

One week in a wet slip?

Thank you sir. Regarding the flushing, is it advisable to use the Salt Away in the engine flushing process, and not just as an external rinse agent? In regard to the trailer, it would be nice if Yamaha allowed a trailer delete or an option for an aluminum trailer.

One week in a wet slip?

So are these boats not made for salt water use. (Asking because I really do not know, not a troll type question.) One of our intended uses is inshore/coastal leisurely cruising along the New England coast. (Reading about the Bimini trips encouraged that premise.)

Getting A Yamaha 242 Limited "Documented" By USCG

The application for Simplified Measurement is what I was referring to regarding the less formal approach. I would like to see someone plug in a 242's numbers to see how it comes out.

Getting A Yamaha 242 Limited "Documented" By USCG

There is a process for informal documentation.

Getting A Yamaha 242 Limited "Documented" By USCG

Okay, got it. It is a state issue. The only thing that is waived here if you go the USCG route is the requirement to register the boat . The ROI does work out on that, but nowhere close to the amounts you would see in MO.

Getting A Yamaha 242 Limited "Documented" By USCG

How does "documented" save on taxes? (I know it often removes the requirement for registration.)

    Yamaha 27'?

270 and 280 have always been nice calibers.:cigar: I wonder how much displacement the current engine could fit, boring a 1.8 to 2 or even 2.5 should not be out of question. Are the current pumps at max ability or would their performance increase with increase HP?
