    Yes. I’ll start with the plugs. It’s had very little use in the last 8 months…less than 4 hours. The dipstick was all oil so I don’t think any water got in. Got smooth revs above idle to full throttle at 7600 rpm. I’ll check electrical connectors and the air filter also.

    125 hours total. 100 hour done at 90. From what I’ve found on here it’s plugs and/or coil packs. Runs good above idle. I had a cooling hose come off at WOT a couple of days ago. Got the alerts and shut it down and got towed. I forgot about the no-wake (first problem in 5 years) restriction but...

    ***UPDATE*** Found the problem. Hose came loose. I’m running off the hose on the trailer and the the bilge starts pumping water overboard. That ain’t right. Start tracing the hose and found it. Darn salt air eats everything. Going to replace all those connectors.

    ? What type of seal for engine compartment noise reduction?

    I did the pipe insulation and some acoustic sheeting on the engine door. After 90 min of fast and slow, I was going fast and got Check Engine and Engine Overheat alert. Ended up getting a tow back to the ramp. Cool day in Florida even. I'm at a loss. Gave up for the day. Troubleshoot more...

    I would check with Jet Ski of Miami. They sell Yamaha boats and should be able to do the work. Or a reputable custom boat shop. Less than two hours tops.

    I installed a Captains chair with the bolster. I posted pictures of the final results few posts back. It fits fine. It will swivel and recline.

    There is a metal plate under the fiberglass. They use it to for the SX’s seats. I drilled the holes and tapped the threads. Been out in fairly heavy chop and it held fast no problem.
