    Lead Bags for 242XE

That seems like a ton of weight! With the factory 1500 lb of ballast and 750 in lead weight and then another 950 in sacs before any people. I was going to just add 500lb in lead weight and use the factory ballast, will that work? We keep ours at the marina so no trailering.

    Lead Bags for 242XE

I appreciate the advice, I do have the wake wedge. And again, my question was asking about placement of the lead bags and how much to fill each stock ballast. I understand weight is not everything and placement is important. So if I can get some advice on placement of lead bags and my stock...

    Lead Bags for 242XE

With the 1400 pounds of stock ballast that comes on the boat plus the 500lb lead bags it should get me close to 1900 pounds before we figure any people weight. I should be getting pretty close I would think. Was just wondering what’s the best placement of the bags. Again I was thinking the small...

    Lead Bags for 242XE

I hate the idea of having ballast sacks on my seats. I want to go the lead bag route and wanted to see if anyone else has tried this? I’m wanting to add 10 50lb bags, possibly some in the storage area behind the seat back on the swim platform, can that little locker support the weight? Any ideas...

    Quitting for Winter

Due to Work related reasons it’s time to be done for the year. There is huge debate on the winterizing process so let me see if someone can help. I live in Northern Georgia. Can I simply add fuel stabilizer, Fire the motors out of water for a few seconds, top off the fuel and put it away? This...

    242x Ballast set up

Try this again, I have a 2018 242XE I surf port side. I cannot Surf ropeless. I’ve ordered a wake wedge and will be putting it on as soon as I get it and hopefully see if that helps. How do you set your ballast? All port side? Any in the center in the starboard ballast? Thanks

Do you fill the center ballast at all or starboard side? Or just port side only and leave the other two empty, I have the exact same boat as you same color and can’t get the rope dropped. Obviously I’m doing something wrong

    2018 242x e battery issue

I understand, but am I correct that the screen is always on? And the only way to get the screen to turn off is to shut off the house battery switch? I wonder why my battery is already almost dead? I just picked it up from the dealership today around 2 o’clock and drove it straight home and the...

    2018 242x e battery issue

I just purchased my new 2018 242xe boat today! After playing with it in the driveway here’s my issue. If I turn just the house battery, the connect system will come on but then there is no way to shut it off unless I turn the house battery back off. Is there not any way to turn the screen off...
