    burnt rubber smell

Hi. I have a 2018 AR 195 and yesterday I noticed a burnt rubber smell. I smelled it briefly on the water but didn't think much of it but when I took the boat out and ran the engines to blow out the muffler, it was very distinct. Plus it sounds a little abnormal. Kind of "squeaky." What...

    Michigan lakes

I was just wondering if there is some site or app that has detailed information on Michigan lakes. I know the DNR has some information regarding which ones have launches. Ideally I'd like to know depth charts, water temperatures and features (like sand bars, beaches or dockable restaurants)...

Perfect Pass or Ridesteady (GPS speed control) for 195s (single engine Yamaha)?

Is the water temperature all that variable? I usually only check it a few times during an outing. Admittedly it would be more convenient to have it always on the display but I'm planning to follow your original plan for now.

Hydrophase Ridesteady GPS Speed Control JETBOATERS.NET Member Discount, Jan 2022

I literally only came back here during winter hiatus only to see if this sale was on. And here it is! I missed it last year or it wasn't held so I had to wait another year. Without wading through all the install pictures, are there pictures of the different bezel colors? I'm thinking...

Perfect Pass or Ridesteady (GPS speed control) for 195s (single engine Yamaha)?

Are you still doing group buys? I was planning to do the Group Buy early 2020 but either it didn't happen or I didn't see it. And I didn't really look for it this year. If so, when should I keep a look out?

    Front ladder solution

If you're talking to the OP, the issue is that there is no bow ladder on the 19 footers.

    Tower cable supports

Although the intact side (pic) seems to not have lock washers, when I searched through the storage area there were two lock washers so I put it back together as nut, lock washer, metal washer, rubber washer, metal washer, lock washer, nut. Did it on the water since there’s more light, breeze and...

Dumb question about where to tie anchor line to the boat

If you’re going to beach regularly definitely recommend getting a keel guard. Even “soft” sand is like sandpaper.

    Tower cable supports

I just noticed that one of the cables that keeps the tower from lowering completely is loose, meaning whatever was holding it has fallen off. So the tower is only being held up by one cable currently. Before I go digging around in the compartment below it I thought I'd ask what I should be...

    Perfect fit!

Excellent. I've been perfectly happy with our 19' AR195. And it fits in the garage too.

    Wake tower touch up

A basketball hoop attacked my wakeboard tower on my AR195 and there is a gash/scratch now. It's not terrible but still unfortunate. The good news is that the glass didn't break when the hoop & backboard fell. Anyway what can I do to touch up the scratch? Thanks.

    Got a wakeboard, now what?

My 13-year-old is ready to try wakeboarding and yesterday I checked FB market place at the right time and snagged two boards for only $30. An O'Brien blunt 137 and a Liquid Force Trip 138. I can't tell how old they are. Probably at least 10 years old. I already gave him the Shaun Murray...

    Front ladder solution

Yes the boat is meant to get wet but some people -- like their mother -- think they are not supposed to get wet when on a boat unless it's on their own terms. 😄 That might do it. Just put it on the cleat and be done. Thanks.

    Front ladder solution

Was wondering if there is some rope ladder or a simple solution that can be used on the front. My kids like to jump off the front but it’s difficult to climb back up. They can swim to the back but then they’re dripping all over as they come back to the front.

    Ribbon Delete 2018 AR195

I haven't been following the ribbon delete threads too closely but what is it supposed to do for you? Increase the top end/max speed? Or increase performance across the board? Thanks.

    2019 Yamaha AR190 - Wakesurf? or upgrade

I have a stock AR195 and a Zup 2.0. My son may want to mix it up and wakesurf. Is it possible? I don't mean drop the rope wake surf but somehow get into the wakesurf pocket in front of the wave and see how it feels to be there. If so, how? I mean do you make the rope shorter and start...

    Carpet buttons keep breaking

Congrats on the new boat. You may want to update the boat info in your profile. I also went from an old SeaDoo boat to a Yamaha.

    Mission/Sentry fenders, 30% off

I have the same problem. On the rear cleat, it's low enough to touch the water so it gets pushed up and loosened. That was the main cleat I bought it for so overall I'm not that pleased. However apparently they have a new product that might solve this issue...
