    Dewinterize battery hookup

I don't think it matters as long as they are grounded but I am not an expert. Maybe someone else can chime in.

    Deluxe Cover - Broken Buckle

The original ones are an inch and a half but I just recently bought the 2 inch ones which have a 378 pound breaking straight compared to your off-the-shelf camping buckles which have about a 60-100 pound breaking strength. the 2 inch ones fit fine and should have a longer life ...

    Wide open throttle question

On my 2018 I've never had wide-open throttle higher than 6500 to 6800 RPM on both engines. I've pulled on both throttle linkage cables and tighten them both to sync. I've also changed the spark plugs after winterizing and nothing changes the RPMs. I should mention that I boat at about 6000 feet...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

I think I may have found out a lot of people steering problems. So as I try and put my boat back together after canceling the thrust vector Wake install because it won't fit on my boat without affecting the gate performance I noticed that the epoxy pieces are rubbing on my steering cable U...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

Well after spending most of the day grinding and trying to make things work these obviously will not work it's the brackets have the spring too close and if you move the spring then you'll be covering up the head of the bolt so this part was poorly designed they should not have these tighter...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

Well I ground down the head of the bolt and it's no longer in the way, I'm gonna do it to all 4. Now I've got to figure out how to get that spring out-of-the-way because it's notched too close to the Jets. it's either that or I grind on the plastic. If somebody tells you this is a three hour job...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

The solution looks like you have to replace the original hardware bolts and get a Dremel to cut different notches since it's already epoxied. heading to Home Depot to see if I can find stainless steel bolts with a smaller head. In my case the screws that the spring goes around Are slightly too...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

Putting on the fins and I'm having a hard time imagining how this is not gonna be an issue the tolerances are too tight. I have the first ones that were sent out it looks like the notch for the spring is too far indented and the bolt head flares out too far.

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

I can't seem to find a 7.5 mm tap I'm going to bring in the part to Home Depot and see if they have a screw that can thread in there and maybe I can fix the issue . The other side worked no problem but this one side is giving me big issues. I just got home from work and ran the nut down the full...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

I should've mentioned I can run the not up-and-down the threads no problem it just stops in the in the bracket. Do you know what thread pattern and size of tap I should get?

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

I have hit a roadblock trying to install the TVW on my 2018 212X. I cannot get the starboard side out of Surfpoint. When I try to thread in the screw in to only 5 threads showing it gets stuck and won't go past the point in the photo.

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

I've been looking through this thread and I can't seem to find my answer, how do you straighten this Surfpoint angled jets? I've received my updated parts and I'm ready to install it

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

That video really doesn't help, the camera angle is too narrow. Also how fast (are the fins out of the water)? How many degrees to each side? Can you do a more aggressive turn in the video it just looks like you see playing with wheel slack.

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

Did you go back to starboard material? I thought you settled on aluminum for the side fins for strength.
