    Mold

FYI - JetBoatPilot did a video showing various products they used to remove mold/mildew from seats. Starbrite Mildew Stain Remover worked the best...Just be careful to avoid the seams, because I think this product contains bleach, which might weaken them. Go to their website and search their...

    Scuba stories.

I've been certified for about 8 years and go with my two sons quite a bit. We mostly dive in the Keys & Caribbean, but we did get the opportunity to dive in Hawaii (Big Island). While we were there, we heard all the stories of the two resident tiger sharks that live & feed off the fisherman's...

SeaDek vs Carpet: How Does it Compare Cleaning & Viability Long Term?

We added SeaDek about 2 years ago and it's great. A few comments; it dries really fast (faster than my carpet), it does not get too hot, it's very easy to clean, I only have to clean it if someone tracks dirt on it, otherwise, it stays very clean and finally it looks really nice verses the...

    Lake Oconee?

You will be good using Fish Tale Marina. Are you planning on staying for an entire week? If so, then you will be fine. While the weekend will be busy and not ideal for water sports, you will have the lake to yourself during the week to enjoy, especially if you are into water sports.

    Lake Oconee?

Even though I live on Lake Oconee, I don't know much about the ramps because we have our own dock / boat lift. The lake is owned by Georgia Power and they have several public boat ramps throughout the lake. Typically I would say unless it's a main summer holiday, you should have no issues, but...

    Lake Oconee?

I live and boat on Lake Oconee. Jumping Rock is near the dam (Southern part of the lake). The lake actually splits near it. One fork will take you to up to the Ritz area and the other will take you to the rest of the lake (Northern part) - Rt. 44, I-20, etc.). See Lake Map attached and black...

    1.5L Rotax 4-TEC Reliability?

We had ours rebuilt / serviced at the 100hr. Mark (thought it was 100hrs. Vs. 200hrs.) and it cost us about $1,200. Much more costly than anticipated.

New Genuine BRP Maintenance Free Supercharger

Same question as Kyle above. I have a 2015 250HP. Actually had mine serviced (rebuilt) at 100 hours (did not know it changed to 200hrs.). I assume I'm good for another 200hrs., but do I have to have it rebuilt or can it be replaced with the Maintenance Free Supercharger?

    New to this site

Yes, the Chaps utilize the BRP motors. They now come with 300HP engines in newer models.

When we visited the Big Island we did quite a bit of scuba diving...We saw a very large 12-14ft. tiger shark near the Honokohau Harbor. It was the highlight of our trip

    Pulled the trigger. 2014 ar192

Love the story...Don't feel bad, we all have a few of those stories in our closet as well, but glad to hear that all ended well. What lake do you boat on? We use to live in your neck of the woods (Boated on Lake Allatoona), but ended up moving to Lake Oconee and we are very pleased with our...

Jet Boat...would you do it again?

I would buy a jet boat again in a heartbeat. We are on our second. First was a Yamaha and then we upgraded to a Chaparral. We've enjoyed both brands, just happen to fall into a really good deal with the Chap. Both have there plus and minuses, but we are very happy with our Chap in regards to...
