I think someone should have got feedback before they purchased this sign OR at the very least make the apostrophe a lot bigger.

    AR220 front center cleat

My preseason to do list is still longer than I’d like but I will see if I can get a drill in the anchor locker to do this mod, if so it shouldn’t take long. I still have quite a few of these cleats from the 2017 ar 240 I salvaged parts from.

    Stripped Bimini bracket.

Oh that, yes I’ve had that problem as well. I tried several solutions including gorilla tape, drywall anchors and inserting a threaded rivet. Nothing worked but using a larger diameter screw but I was limited by the opening in the mounting bracket. My problem is the amount the of play when...

I have a 2010 ls, same tower I think. Can you post a pick of the part you are referencing?

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

I got a good deal on this new in package tube which completes the tube fleet this year. Nice because it can be pulled from the front or back. Now back to the real work of getting ready for this boating season.

    AR220 front center cleat

Thanks for planting the seed. I’m considering modding my boat’s anchor locker with a pop out cleat. Although i am not sure I can get a drill with a hole saw bit positioned in there correctly.

    It's alive...sort of. 2004 AR230 resurrection

I have a fuel pump or pumps (still in the tank) from a 2017 ar 240 if you think it will fit in your boat make me an offer via a convo plus shipping from 94505. fyi - I bought a wrecked 240 for the engines and salvaged the rest before disposing of the hull.

Looking for trailer for 242 LTD S Anywhere in Texas!

I suggest you check Facebook/meta marketplace. There are several forums on it dedicated to Yamaha jet boats, often see items for sale there but haven’t bought any since they are all, so far anyway out of state often many states away. Fyi - the trailers are not year or model specific. That is...

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

I drilled new holes for and connected the center brake light this morning as well as remounted the garmin transducer. I wish I would have mounted the brake light a little higher but it’s not hanging below the trailer and unlike the unit it replaced it’s mounted level with the trailer and isn’t...

I like it and cost is not an issue but it requires a much bigger access hole be cut than I was originally planning on. I was thinking of using a 1” to 2” hole saw where the screws were.

Just took a moment while booting up my work PC to appreciate the beautiful sunrise this morning here in NCal. I can’t believe I resisted working from home for so long. This is the view from my home office window. On some hot afternoons it’s common for me to look out and see women walking by in...

I plan to. It burns because I caused the problem when I installed mounts in the head compartment to hold the table leg, i used a couple of screws that were just a bit too long. I’ve since back the screws out or removed them but the only way I can get to the area from the inside is to drill some...

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

I wired the running lights on the trailer guides yesterday and also found a small leak in the hull. it’s not bad but it is one more thing to add to the list.

So it rained a few days ago and I didn’t think much of it, until I saw this under my boat. It’s funny how perception changes with age and experience. When I first started boating over 25 years ago i would have thought this is terrible and possibly expensive and time consuming to fix. Now I...

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

I just painted the brake calipers in my truck / main Waverunner tow vehicle. You can see the over spray and although I did not remove that pads before paint the brakes still seem to be working fine. Also included are pics of the trailer guides, pads and lights that I installed yesterday. I...

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

The non towing mpg of the ‘16 is a lot better than the older versions. It seems like I only get ‘16 mpg when not towing. This was the case with my ‘04 and ‘10 as well. Thankfully, this is not my daily driver. It’s dedicated to towing the boat and/or people moving with a capacity to seat eight...

    Yamaha ecu

I believe you can and it should not hurt to attempt it but you may find some of the boat features are not available after you make the switch.

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

The Expediton has been awesome. This is my fourth one and is a 2012 Limited EL with the 5.4L V8. Two wheel drives are rated to tow 9,200 lbs. and four wheel drive 8,900 lbs. not sure what the new ones are rated to pull but was given a 2019 Max as a warranty loaner a few years ago, it had a twin...

    My 2024 pre-season prep (maintenance/upgrades/repairs) checklist

Just painted the back of the pads that are exposed. When the brake pads are replaced the back goes back to the standard color. I’ve painted the calipers on about 10 vehicles over the last few years. I just follow the process in many YouTube videos Where the caliper is painted while it is...
