Yamaha Boat Loans Sold From Synchrony to Yamaha Motor Finance

Was your loan written after the transition? Just curious what the difference is. Apparently the loans from Synchrony are the problem.

Yamaha Boat Loans Sold From Synchrony to Yamaha Motor Finance

My title finally came through after about 30 phone calls and 20 hours on the phone - not to mention countless promises that it would be “any day now”. Just wanted to close the loop on this thread.

Hopefully the new servicing company will do better with new loans than they are with transitioned loans. They still haven’t processed my lien release, although they claim they found the title on 7/17.

... got two more levels up in the organization ... was supposed to hear back from them Monday ... nothing. Still waiting ... calling back tomorrow. Saying these guys suck is an understatement. Spoke with our State Attorney General's office today -- they'll be working that complaint...

Yamaha Boat Loans Sold From Synchrony to Yamaha Motor Finance

Agreed. Hope you don’t need your title. Mine is 60 days. The supervisor I talked with today said that he takes calls like mine all day long - including a guy that’s been waiting 150+ days for his title.

Seriously, don’t go through Yamaha. Synchrony says that Yamaha moved from them. The new provider works on behalf of Yamaha (and other companies). Their (supposedly confidential) claim is that Synchrony didn’t help at all during the transition, just “dumping boxes of paperwork”. So it’s hard...

Yamaha Boat Loans Sold From Synchrony to Yamaha Motor Finance

I've been dealing with the same incompetence since June 1st. I can't count how many times I've been promised it will be "any day now".

Yamaha Boat Loans Sold From Synchrony to Yamaha Motor Finance

Do NOT finance through Yamaha, no matter how attractive the interest rate is. They don't apply payments in a standard way (overpayments do not go to principal) and I've been waiting 60 days for them to release a lien on my boat -- which can be done online in my state. They're incompetent and...

... About that Facebook page ... ;) ... any interest in reopening it? BTW ... sorry for the blast of posts ... been on hold for an hour and 15 minutes

    Yamaha Motor Finance

Did they really do it? I've been told countless times that they're working on it and I should have a certified letter in 48 hours. All I need is for them to go online with our state and release the lien. I can get a title myself. I don't use the word "hate" much, but my hate for YMF is very...

BTW, how can these thread be more visible so that more than a few of us are aware of the issues? I'd hate for another Jetboater to fall into this trap when there are other lending options, albeit at a market, rather than promotional, interest rate.

I paid mine off 60 days ago and STILL waiting after repeated promises that it was "in process", "will be done in 48 hours", "has been escalated to management", etc. Beware -- do not finance your boat through these guys. I have two service reps on hold now for over an hour each waiting to be...

BUMP. Pictures, finally! It's time to get on the water! Whether you're downsizing, just starting out, or want a quick boat that fits in your garage, this 2014 SX192 may be your ticket. It's in great condition and has been well maintained. It rides on a 2015 Shorlandr trailer with a folding...

I like the intent of the Warning system and know (and trust) the moderators to revise it as we have more experience with it. I know I’ve probably said things while in a particular mood that I regretted later. I really value all of you in moderating and forum leadership roles. This is a great...

    SOLD Wanting to purchase

Not sure if you’re asking about my post or not. My 2014 is for sale - the weather has been terrible (at least when I’m home) and I don’t have pics yet. If you’re in Central Ohio, message me and we can set up a visit.
