    Enjoy! I believe the lock stops working at 6 pm, ask the lock operator when you go through to make sure.

    5 to 6 hours, depends on how fast you get through the lock. If you arrive at the lock just as the lake Moultrie doors closes it could be almost an hour before you get through.

    Fenders and how to use them

    I use davis fender tender II and clip on the top rail of the side window for a middle fender. You can gets these in almost all boat shops or online for about $10 for the pack of 2.

    We went in 2017, https://jetboaters.net/threads/abaco-bahamas-trip-june-2017.13785/ From what I have seen I would not go back for a couple more years, their recovery is going very slow, it seems there is barely enough recovered to support the locals. Cheeseburger in paradise party was a blast.

    Hope it works out that you can make it. For a place to stay I would check hotels around the Tanger Outlet Mall area in North Charleston. It will be a lot cheaper to stay there than closer to downtown Charleston, plus you are only 10 minutes from the WO Thomas ramp.
