Completed For Sale 2016 Yamaha 242 Limited $44,500

I'd go with what Ronnie said about posting on Craigslist in other states as well. I live in Eastern Washington and if I were in the market I'd make the trip to CA in a heart beat. My local Yamaha dealer covers a good chunk of the eastern part of the state and they are selling used 242's before...

That place looks amazing! We need to head that way this summer! Is Steamboat the best place to stay?

Anyone added rod holders to their 190?

I put holders on the tower and the Scotty's towards the back. This is the only picture I could find that shows it...kind of....I have one on each side.

One picture of your last outing.

Got to start the season with an evening, dinner ride last Friday....aside from getting pretty cold it was a nice feeling to get back in the water.

    Starting struggles

Yep....I keep it off when charge....went with the dual bank so both would be getting a good charge. The engine didn't seem or sound weak at all.....just struggled to catch but once it did it was all good.

    Starting struggles

The shop who did the install said to run it on both while cruising and when anchored run it on the secondary battery. So every time I tried to start it the switch would be on 1+2. I hadn't tried to turn it on with the switch on either one or two. Both of my batteries are new and I have a...

    Starting struggles

I've done some searching on here last night and this morning with no luck so I apologize in advance if this has been discussed already. So yesterday I took my 2015 190 out for the first time this season and things seemed to go really well except for one thing. After switching to my secondary...

First time out (new to jet boats)

I've seen a ramp type setup that people use; one of the guys on here has an awesome video of his dogs just launching off the boat and coming back up. I always have a life jacket on our dog; the jacket has a handle which I use to just pull him up....makes it a little difficult sometimes since...

    Changes at the movie theatres

We have a small theater in town that's attached to a bar; they give you menus and will serve drinks and food during the movie...the prices aren't too bad and the theater is split up into love seats so even in a sold out movie you are a decent distance from the stranger next to you. Best part...

Took the AR192 out for the 1st time.

It definitely gets better after the first trip....I was sweating bullets the first time we took ours out without the help of the sales guy and actually did a couple 360's in between two docks. Like others have said, it gets easier with each trip.

    Pacific Northwest

I was just looking at some things online about potholes. A coworker swears by the place but everything I've read says the mosquitos are insane. I've heard there are tons of places to beach the boat though. We're wanting to hit that spot sometime this season but need to find out when the bugs...

    First boat ever.

I'm liking those FSH Deluxe more every time I see one; they look like such a perfect combo of everything. Not sure if you're interested but check out Stryker's site sometime. www.strykerttops.com I just bought some rod holders from them but they have some nice looking T-Tops for your style...

    New Speakers

I ended up sending the MB's back and have the Polks in the mail; with the reputation the Polks have plus not having to make the cutout any bigger was an easy decision. Probably going to add an amp in a couple months but I think just getting rid of the stock speakers will be nice.

Keep the mods coming......Living vicariously through many of you!

No pictures just yet but my list seems to be taking shape. Just dropped the boat off to get a Lowrance Elite 5 installed this coming week. They're also going to install some transom rod holders. Had new speakers but don't want to make the cutout diameter bigger to fit so I've got the Polks on...
