    We ran around Belews lake today. Boat checked out and ready for summer! Great weather. I am back on for for Saturday. Sorry for the 180 there. Again it will be 5 of us.

    Too late to join? I was able to successfully add it to my wife’s calendar with her knowledge! Not sure if we would do the full Pinnopolis Locks to HH run. May start in Charleston.

    You have to be right at max tow capacity. We had an odyssey. It kept burning up converters every 15k miles and the transmission started acting like a rubber band because it couldn't decide what gear to go into. Lol. We didn't tow with it.

    Our trip to Bimini this year with family of 6 in my 05 F350 6.0l diesel we averaged 13.5 mpg. And for all those Ford 6.0l haters Mine ran like a top crossing 151000 miles on the workhorse.

    I read the same thing. It's very vague on distances they need to maintain from swimmers or vehicles in the water. I still think they should make a low pass to observe vessels in the area prior to an approach to land. That is smart piloting and what pilots must do flying VFR today if they plan...

    That's what I was thinking happened when I posted earlier in this thread. A ton of force on just a few threads because a bolt is bottoming out early due to being too short would definitely cause cross threading on its own as it stretched the insert threads. Need to see what the bolt specs are...

    @bronze_10 I think that may be a good idea for a group get together! What about September 9th as a potential date and do just that. Put in at nut bush, cruise north for lunch, hang out for a while and head back.

    I am not a mechanic or anything, but man that looks like the bolt itself is too short to perform the job properly. Putting stress on what looks to be just the first 3 threads is not enough to secure a tower.
