    Rate your 2023 boating season

Oh, and to the original question, Imma gonna join @Scottintexas on the solid D. Too darn hot to go out most days. But, did get a few notable fun days out there, so not a total loss. And, down here, the season is only half over (the other half is Oct-Apr).

No proper reaction icon for this one. Sad to lose a family member like that. Wishing you peace and good memories.

JET PUMP FAIL ... SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW

Given the report of the nylon rings quieting things... do you think it is valid that the ringing is not so much the impeller blade ringing as the same power pulses flexing the blade just enough to slightly contact the rings? Then all the dampening you hypothesize would still reduce the ring...

    Winch Cover?

Never heard of such a thing, but can't imagine it would hurt of course. Amazon seems to show some with elastic at the bottom. Could probably just pop one of those on there...

To buy or not to buy - ‘04 ar230 winter project

The other factor is the time. I know when I had 3 little ones that age, had I gone out to the garage every weekend to spend 20 hours on a dead boat, I would be dead or divorced. If you're anything like me, there would be no such thing as just spending an hour out there. And (more importantly)...

    Hard to start

Talk about frustrating! I hate intermittent problems. Almost rather have a rod sticking out the side of the engine... at least then I know what is wrong.

    Hard to start

(I realize not everyone's style, but stories like this are why I try my very best to not have to take my boat to my dealer... Even if they do everything right, getting it there and back is a hassle and it will be outside and it will take forever... and it is more likely as in this case that...

One picture of your last outing.

I would look into both. If you recover from the freighters, the money will first go to reimburse your insurance (called subrogation), but you don't need to chose one or the other. Is your boat at a shop or do you have it? I would get it to a shop pronto, so that the insurance can't say you...

Navigation lights not working on sx210.

Gas in Exhaust / Oil in Starboard Engine

I would get a sucker and drain the oil in each back down to mid between hi and low. Then monitor. If there is gasoline in the oil, some may burn off and you will see the level go down a bit. If there is a stuck injector or a leak in engine (putting water or gas in the oil), then you will see...

Gas in Exhaust / Oil in Starboard Engine

In your situation, overfilled oil is usually a symptom rather than a cause. Injector stuck open is pushing fuel into the oil, raising the level, often. Big question is did you check the oil level after you replaced the port ECU? And (second big question), did you check the starboard ECU for...
