    Do not buy a Scarab

    Likewise, I have 2015 HOI and it’s fn awesome! Had some small issues that we handled with great customer service via scarab directly. Great boat buy scarab!!! Like u said doesn’t matter what u get , nothing’s perfect

    I used mine an entire season with the check engine light on and it ran fine .. eventually Found it was was a bad o2 sensor

    Not sure what type or year boats yr referring to ? but 2 keys on Scarab are attached to lanyard kill switch ( just like a jet ski). Faster to kill both engines with just a single tug

    Yup I lost one of my entire reverse buckets , bolts , bucket and all. Got the parts under warranty and fixed it myself . This was due to poor maintenance that was done on my boat through my dealer bc they had it all apart to realign one of the motors and either didn’t put it all back...

    2016 215 hoi. Love love love it. Best looking boats on the water. Had my share of issues as well but it’s mechanical and shit is bound to break sooner or later . These boats are awesome! Keep checking those hose clamps .....

    Engine Break In

    I have a 215 hoi. Just vary the rpms frequently for about 10 hours per motor. Do not drive it wide open during this time . Monitor your antifreeze and oil levels whenever u can . check all hose clamps at delivery and at the beginning and end of every season, along with any other nut, bolt...

    got a new rxtx 300. At 4 hours the super charger failed and also ruined the motor , my awesome dealer replaced everything with new , new super charger new motor etc...
