    '18 VX Cruiser HO

I tried. It keeps telling me "server error" when I try to upload them. Not sure why, other than I'm trying from my phone and the photos are almost 2mb.

New to us 2015 VX 1100

Grabbed a gently used 20 hr cream puff with a 3 yr factory warranty, new Yamaha cover and a used single ski trailer with sliders for just under 8K +ttl. It's our first jet ski so didn't want to go crazy expensive or too powerful...yet. It's a base VX so had to have a reboarding ladder installed...

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

Ha tell me about it. My garage fits the 190 perfectly. Not sure, but might have to live in the 240 just so I can park in the neighborhood. But it won't be until the 19's are coming out at the earliest. Maybe hit a boat show and try to snag an '18 at the end of next year. Although looking...

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

So they told us the seals failed/corroded on the oil cooler lines. Seems a bit odd that rubber seals would go bad so quickly. The boat is only 18 months old with less than 60 hrs and never seen salt water. Oh well, it ran fine and the wife's happy. And we all know the age old saying ;)...but...

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

We are going to the lake this weekend so hopefully the repairs will be completed. I'll get a better idea what happened and let you all know.

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

Well good news. It was the oil cooler and its covered under the warranty...dodged a big bullet there. Parts been ordered and should be fixed by next week. Thanks for all the words of encouragement & informative posts. I've never been much of an engine repairman or electrical wiring guy so...

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

Our boat has never been in salt water. Dealer did the first oil change per the recommended schedule towards the end of last season. The boat only has around 50 hrs. This was its first use this season. With such low hours I would not have expected another oil change was necessary yet, nor...

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

This was the first outing this year and all fluids were fine. Didn't really have time to check for a source of the leak. I could see the filter and it was on tight. Then we had to get the boat to the shop then get back to the campground and load up the camper for the trip home in holiday...

    Unknown Catastrophic Failure

So we used the boat all weekend with no issues. We all went out for a couple hours today before leaving the campground. Had a great time, ran perfectly. No warning lights, no CEL, no lugging engine, no stalling, no nothing. So we loaded it up on the trailer, pulled the drain plugs and...

Suggestions on Boat waxing and detailing

Collinite 476s Double Coat wax. One of my favorites when I have the time. Turtle Wax Ice spray when I'm short on time or in between full details.

What do you tow your 190 with?

LOL, no sag at all apparently! Love it.

What do you tow your 190 with?

Yea I was wondering how much sag I might have to adjust for. The 7" inch rise would cover the difference (13" - 20"), but wasn't sure if I'd need an 8" rise to keep it level after the tongue weight and family loaded up. I have a 7-1/4" drop / 5" rise draw bar that I can flip the ball around to...

What do you tow your 190 with?

Those are nice, but pricey. I was thinking cheaper since I have soo many tow bars already that don't fit. Was looking at a Curt Manuf #45110 or #45112. Both 7" rise. Just not sure if 7" is tall enough.

What do you tow your 190 with?

I just got our hitch installed on our '16 Kia Sorento EX V6 AWD. The hitch receiver sits pretty low. The top of the receiver is only 13" high and the SX190 trailer coupler is at 20". I was thinking a 7" rise would be fine, but i'm wondering if that is enough to also accommodate any tongue...
