Four Winns OEM jet....and no it isn't a fling

I'm cruising comfortably at 4500 RPM and I don't run wide open all time. When I occasionally do RPM bump to around 5000. I had it running at 5500 RPM one day with it trimmed up all the way and it started to spark knock so I backed off. It is an older engine so I don't beat on it much, plus it...

Four Winns OEM jet....and no it isn't a fling

I honestly haven't pulled any tubers yet. Have left the dock to go tubing only for the sheriff to pull on lake 3 times so I just pull back out. Not really a high demand since am at a camp ground where everyone has a boat and the kids are always tubing with someone :) I'll see how it goes this...

Yes I can. Don't have any more pics of jet. It's in the water or I would gladly take a few for you. I'm pretty sure you can add the place diverter so you can trim but not sure how expensive it would be.

    Help seaweed issues

I made my own grate rake today to keep in my boat just in case. Cost me $21 and disassembles for storage. Hope I never have to use it but if I do it is there and at least I won't have to get wet

    Whats your Boats name?

"Wahoo²" which hasn't been put on the new boat yet. Old boat was "Wahoo" until she burnt to ground a month ago. Not much left of her :(

Do I start & run water out once on trailer?

Well according to the experts on the jet drive I have it is OK to run my jet out of water AS LONG AS all the grease spots have been greased. If not could cause a lot of damage. But is not necessary so I am going to only run it if I feel it is necessary at some point. :)

Do I start & run water out once on trailer?

Have an impellar I believe. I'm going to ask this question to Ron @ American Turbine and will let you all know what he says. My gut tells me I shouldn't be running out of water at all

Four Winns OEM jet....and no it isn't a fling

I've only had her out once but am hoping the weather cooperates for at least another day or two so I can enjoy. It is killing me that I bought at end of season. Had her going just under 50 with 3 of us in the boat. I'm in Allendale and wouldn't mind taking you for a ride at all. Videos will come...

Do I start & run water out once on trailer?

I'm confused because I am getting mixed advice. Should I start and run for a few seconds after on trailer to run water out or not?
