    New Car Prices

My wife has been looking for a new Escalade. Can’t find any that are not still $15-$30k above MSRP (for the specific trim she wants). We will definitely ride it out before paying that.

    Simrad GO9 Power Issue

I had an issue with mine where it kept powering off and back on. (Sounds like different issue) but mine ended up being the main connection. I unplugged it, cleaned terminals (which felt very tight and didnt look dirty) but haven’t had an issue since. probably a long shot but try to unhook...

Coastal NC, SC, & GA - You've got $750k to drop on a boat & weekend vacation home...what, where, and why?

Same. Wouldn’t do a Yamaha for open ocean. Some type of center console or something similar (although don’t fish). I would live in the Emerald Isle NC area (sound-side). Lots to explore within an hour or so.

    Any home theater people here?

Thanks. It is in a dark (no window) room and most of what is watched is over the internet. Not sure if it is any good but the cheaper one has 3D. Maybe it isn’t good but kids may like it so may just try that one and save some money all things considered.

    Mission Reef Mat

Wow. Your bag is better than mine. Mine doesn’t have wheels and I wouldn’t call mine oversized either. Takes some wrestling if not done well. They must have improved since I bought mine.

    Mission Reef Mat

It is perfect for what you are looking for them. I have one of those huge roll up mats too. This things isn’t much easier and weighs a lot more to maneuver. But it is MUCH better to relax and hang out on.

    Mission Reef Mat

I bought that one. It is good for hanging out off a dock or sandbar. I bought it on a Black Friday deal 2 years ago for like 50% off. I would compare to the Bote one that has some extra features but I bought this one based on the deal I got vs. the cost of Bote. I tried to find a picture of it...

    Transducer not working

Any ideas? Stopped reading depth and now it doesn’t do the Downscan/ fish finder either. It clearly has power so is the actual transducer bad or something else to check?

Is there less boating than Pre Covid?

I think not only gas prices, but price increases across the board have something to do with it as well. I calculated the impact on gas prices for us vs 2 years ago is almost $6000 more a year. Food prices, airline tickets, etc. I think it adds up to some people saving money where they can and...

    Blackstone grill/griddle

Just bought a Blackstone. Anyone have any tips? I am a charcoal person so probably will only use it for breakfast, vegetables, hibachi, etc. I am down the YouTube rabbit hole already.
