    Totaled my 2015 SX240.....

Anyone that wake boards or surfs and uses ballast bags could use the tsunami pump they use to fill the bags as a second pump. I was out one day when a guy forgot to put his drain plug in. He took off and was up on plane before realizing it and on plane no water coming in until he stopped and...

    SOLD 2007 SX230HO in VA

It was great meeting you and Jeff - and spending some time on the lake. I love that its new home is just a few miles down the lake from its old home! Hope Jeff gets as much joy out of it as my family did!

    SOLD 2007 SX230HO in VA

We have found time....3-5 times a summer, just exiting ownership for a few years, we'll be back once the kids are off to college. Though I may buy a cabin cruiser at that point and spend weekends on the water with the wife. With my kids, this year we actually have to pull them out of school...

    SOLD 2007 SX230HO in VA

LOL, trust me, I didn't fit either. I'm built like a linebacker.....with a gut. I had to shimmy my shoulders in carefully, my ass was still on the ledge of the seat and my feet were up in the air.....plus I'm claustrophobic. It was uncomfortable and not fun, but worth it for the end result...

    Buying Truck Rims online

I did a ton of research when I did mine. Best price I could find was Mr. Wheel Deal. Check them out. They can help with fitment too, whether they'll rub, etc.

    SOLD 2007 SX230HO in VA

The front mounts are easy, you can access them through the closet and cabinet forward of the drivers console. The rear mounts were a little different, you have to get your body down inside the storage under the seats. Long arms come in handy to start the bolts. Then I used a torque wrench to...

    SOLD 2007 SX230HO in VA

It's an Airbourne Purchased through H2OSportswarehouse. I'm not sure how far above the windsheild it is when folded though. Sorry. It's not much, you can sort of tell by looking at the pictures of the tower online. The front mount disconnects, then the tower folds backwards. Once folded...

    Amazon Echo users?

The app that integrates with Alexa allows me to set up the timer. I used TP-Link bulbs and the Kasa app that controls them. Kasa integrates with Alexa so you can turn them on/off or dim them via your voice. You can set up timers and/or group the bulbs however you want as well. Then you have...

    Amazon Echo users?

Set mine up to control lights in the house. I have rooms that the lights aren't on a switch, so you have to walk through the dark to get to a light, it's great, just tell Alexa to turn on the light you want. I also have a few lights that were on an old fashioned timer. I'd have to reset it...

    Tonneau Covers

I have a Truxedo, similar to the one you posted, but mine is the QT. Love it. Had it two years, no issues, no sag. It rolls up so you can leave it stored that way and use your whole bed or with two quick releases, the whole thing comes off and you can store it in a garage. Light weight too...

    What's up with my Ram?

I have the same EVAP issue, bought a cheap code reader and just reset it myself. Seems to happen when there are drastic temp changes in the weather. I did have one weird thing happen. Where the hood comes down from the center hump, right along the front edge of the hood, I had corrosion...

2007-2009 SX/AR230 -- Is it me or are they getting more expensive?

That changes everything then....I didn't pay enough attention to the fact that it was the nonHO MR1 they were comparing. Disregard my previous comment about repowering with the new 3 cylinder then.

2007-2009 SX/AR230 -- Is it me or are they getting more expensive?

Assuming these repower comments were targeted at me since I talked about upgrades and boat value.....but if you're going to repower, why not go for the new 3 cylinder they just announced that is significantly lighter and has higher horsepower than the MR1? Seems to me that would be the better...

2007-2009 SX/AR230 -- Is it me or are they getting more expensive?

2007 - 2009 was a different body style and an increase in horse power over the 2006. That's not a bad price for that boat though. I would confirm that it's an SX230HO and not just the SX230....they advertise it as an SX230 and then call it a High Output in the ad. Make sure it's High Output...

2007-2009 SX/AR230 -- Is it me or are they getting more expensive?

Yamaha is doing a good job of creating value in the older boats due to the increase in price on the newer boats. Not quite apples to apples, but my sister owned a Super Air Nautique. She, her husband and their family used it for 6 years and then sold it for $5,000 less than what they bought it...

I'm going to swap out my SHO engine for one of these...

yep....I had it backwards.... My wife's escalade can take e85 but everything I read said the miles per gallon goes down when you use it. That's why I don't use it....I think I inadvertently equated that to low octane....not higher.

I'm going to swap out my SHO engine for one of these...

Did anyone else notice that at the 20 second mark it says it uses E85 fuel? That's a lot of power out of a low octane fuel! Or does that simply mean it's E85 compatible?
