    **SOLD** 2005 SX/AR 230 Carpet Set

I was cleaning out the garage and found the carpet for my 2005 SX 230. It was replaced with Sea Deck by the original owner. He gave it to me with the boat. I put it in a box and it's been there ever since. It looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. Located in Upstate NY. Make me an...

installing a gas water heater, difficult?

Shark Bite fittings are great and very easy to use. That's what I used when our heater went out on Thanksgiving weekend with a house full of company!

    Old jet boat value?

I would love to see this boat on the Hudson! Boats like this were pretty common when I lived in Arizona but I've never seen one out here. The engine parts should be available as well, although the Olds parts always seemed to be about double what a similar Chevy part costs.

    Google Street View

So excited! I was looking at Google maps today and it looks like they took some new pictures this summer. Even got lucky on a day when the boat was in the water! (I only leave it in on weekends.) You can even see the kayak rack.

Flushing both engines at the same time

I use a dual setup too. It has a dual shutoff valve at the hose connection and have plenty of water pressure. Fresh water but I always flush to keep it clean and help prevent invasives from being spread.

    2005 SX 230 wont start

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. Check both ends of all the battery cables. I suspect a bad ground.

    Leaving boat in the water

We have Zebra mussels in the river so the longest i leave it in is about a week. Then I pull it, clean it up, and let it dry for a couple days.

Boat seems to pull to the right.

Definitely check the weight distribution first, it can make a big difference. It's also possible the steering wheel really is off center. You can correct that just like the toe in your car by adjusting the steering cables at the nozzles. Give each one a turn to the left and see if it helps.

Should I try to build a brick mailbox ??

I agree. If it was our house my wife would make sure we got one that matched everyone else. I did find this on amazon however. https://www.amazon.com/Curbside-Xpressions-Sanford-Mailbox-Mailboxes/dp/B07BVPTMN2/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1534360390&sr=8-19&keywords=brick+mailbox

Proper way to trailer with cover on ???

There are two vents on either side of the cover. These create a vacuum under the cover when driving. If you leave the poles up, there is too much tension on the cover and it can rip. If you remove them entirely, there is too little support for the cover when it gets sucked down. Plus, as...
