Inflatable Class IV capable Sea Eagle 420X Kayak

@zipper , that looks like a pretty nice boat too. What brought me to the Explorer 420X was the idea of compact for RV travel, but a kayak. It was as I researched that I found videos and information about how great a sailboat it made too. It’s very roomy comfortable I hear. I should get the boat...

Inflatable Class IV capable Sea Eagle 420X Kayak

Hi @Bruce , The boat is on sale thru Saturday I believe, with free shipping, 180 day trial, and a 3 year warranty. The boat is $1099 for the Pro edition. The basic sail kit is $599. I bought a super deluxe package that upgrades the mast and gear for a 55 sq ft sail kit vs the 45 sq ft basic...

Inflatable Class IV capable Sea Eagle 420X Kayak

txav8r bought another boat!!! Hey, a boat is a boat. We have been running the motorhome gig now for almost 5 years, and boatless for that time period. Lots of adventures, fun, a little disappointment, all in the RV. We bought electric bikes, Pedego Interceptor Platinums over a year ago and...

    What's your favorite Bourbon?

@BigN8 , right up the road from you, in Valley View, Texas, on the square, is the Whiskey Hollow Distillery and Tasting room. And another place close by you, the Gaylord Texan, one of the Gaylord Properties, named Whiskey ahollows Premium Bourbon, the top bourbon in America. It is Texas Gold...

Why search when the answer is right here?

I think I have an old partially shredded shipping cover laying around I’ll loan you, lol. Of all the covers out there, from custom to OEM, the OEM fits, works, and is easiest to use. I’m taking about the mooring and trailering cover, not the two piece snap on cover. You will have to keep water...

    Another House/boatel/campertel

@jcyamaharider @jcyamahariders wife You guys have made (decision) and found the ultimate place! We lived in the Dallas suburbs when we met and when the kids were in school. Once they were headed off to college, we found our 5 acres in a deeded and restricted rural, all wooded, subdivision. We’ve...

    Winterizing: Anyone ever use this?

Hey @Gym ! Yeah, you got me! Ive been out of pocket with work and VACATION! We had a successful trip this year, following last years disaster. I can't remember if I updated the motorhome thread but we broke down a year ago and bottom line, it had to have the Cummins ISB 6.7L engine...

    Winterizing: Anyone ever use this?

Fuel stabilizers are not fogging oils. Marine grade Stabil is a great fuel extender AND ethanol treatment, as well as a product that will cut into your condensation production in the tank...if you use it year round in every tank of fuel. But fogging is recommended now by Yamaha on a routine...

To BEE or not to BEE (Honeybees)!

I am glad you woke up the thread @zipper, I guess capturing that swarm would be tough without losing the tree. Although, you could use a lemongrass bait and a swarm cage, and see if you could get them. I have no experience with swarms, and wish I had never seen my own hives swarm...

    Dual battery....opposite situation of Tonka.....HELP

If all your ACC items are not functioning, then your ACC power or ground isn’t making contact, isn’t connected, or fuse is bad. Or...you hooked the ACC ground to positive or visa versa. It happens, and more often than you would think. Anytime you remove batteries, label everything, shoot...

    Dual battery....opposite situation of Tonka.....HELP

If your running an ACR, your best bet is deep cycle. And to clear up common confusion, your charge system isn’t an alternator, and the system doesn’t charge the start battery first always, it charges the lowest voltage battery first. We don’t have the sophisticated software that a motorhome or...

The Last Texoma Gathering As a Couple July 14th 2018

I’m not sure what happened, but I haven’t been getting notifications on the thread the last month. We rearranged our schedule and I had made a reservation just in case at the RV Park at Highport, and we are Here! I will come out with PEARCE if he lets me. Looking firestorm d to seeing everyone...

    Huge Power Loss

@AboveTheBest , the bearings in the intermediate housing are sealed. The reason to add grease to the housing is to waterproof the housing from water intrusion. Any chance this housing either lacks that grease or was ever overfilled? Those are the reasons for the ambiguous wording in the manual...

    Huge Power Loss

@FLBulldogger , the two issues s are unrelated...unless one issue created the other issue. FOD as you referred to it, lake debris, can and will cause cavitation. And cavitation will cause overheating. Loaded with 8 adults, cavitating, overheating, and then while hot, they can be vapor locked...

Do you carry a firearm aboard your boat?

But you have felt the need in your RV? Seems even more of a mild mannered environment than the “Lake”crowd, that can be a little out of control with liquid courage at times.
