I decided on speakers and sub for AR250 - what tuner and amp or amps?

JL is still better but we put our side by side through some muddy and wet terrain and pressure wash the inside and they have held up for 2 years.

I decided on speakers and sub for AR250 - what tuner and amp or amps?

Not a huge fan of using one amp to do everything. I would use a mono block amp for the subs and a multi channel amp to power everything else. There are decent amps out there for cheap. We run some NVX amps in our Maverick X3 and it sounds amazing. One mono block amp running to 2 10" kickers...

Zipwake install on 2023 Yamaha 252SD

This system destroyed many actuators because the actuators are meant to push against a trim tab. Chad was using these in a pull motion and it would strip out the actuator.

255xd Any impeller upgrades? And cavitation issues.

@jacoviii would 195 impellers not work in your boat? Switching to 19ft impellers in my boat made a huge difference.

242X with stock ballast system working and transom fatsac and Wake booster and still can’t get adults ropeless. And the boat sounds struggling

I didn't do the housing, never had an issue with one. You may loose a little top speed but nothing major.

242X with stock ballast system working and transom fatsac and Wake booster and still can’t get adults ropeless. And the boat sounds struggling

Check the things that you can control, tunnel sealed properly, make sure your plugs are seated good and then go see if it gets any better. Trust your instincts and do what you feel is best for you.

242X with stock ballast system working and transom fatsac and Wake booster and still can’t get adults ropeless. And the boat sounds struggling

Also to answer your other question, Yes I could surf that wave. RPM my boat is running about 6900, so almost full throttle.

242X with stock ballast system working and transom fatsac and Wake booster and still can’t get adults ropeless. And the boat sounds struggling

So you may have some underlying issues. Have you checked your impellers? Are they wore? Even if they don't look wore they still may be. I changed out to 19ft impellers ( 6CW) and they made a world of difference. My impellers were wore out after 2 years. Also are you pump tunnels smooth? Missing...

242X with stock ballast system working and transom fatsac and Wake booster and still can’t get adults ropeless. And the boat sounds struggling

Going rope-less is more then just a ballast configuration on the boat. It is rider skill, what type of board they are on, water condition...etc. Keep at it, it will come eventually. FYI here is a video of the exact same boat with the exact same weight. Only difference Wake Wedge!!!

    Anyone using Starlink at home?

We have it with the RV plan. It doesn't have to be mounted high and will auto adjust to find the satellites. I did test up low and high and didn't see any speed difference. We use it at home as well. I purchased an extra cable and pole mount as well as a flag pole mount for the rv. I have seen...
