    Medallion or NO Medallion?

Bob. I am also starting to get bubbles in my screen now. Mine is a 2016, (sixth the year on water) so it likely is no longer under warranty unless there is something longer on the screen. I had my screen replaced I think in 17 for another issue, so technically the screen is less than five...

CANDOO Pro User Location Repository, So YOU Can Find Someone That Has It Nearby

Thanks for the offer, but that is a stretch. Like 3+ hour one way drive from me. You say "i Used for my jet skis". Do you no longer have a need for it and are willing to sell? Any other locals have anything to offer? Marblehead, Sandusky, Port Clinton? Thanks Again.

CANDOO Pro User Location Repository, So YOU Can Find Someone That Has It Nearby

Anyone in the Ohio - Sandusky Bay region with a CanDoo Pro. I am in need of a "maintenance" reset. I changed the oil myself last couple of years and have not been able to reset the maintenance notice. I will also be looking for a good Rotax mechanic this fall for the 200-hour supercharger...

    Vortex 223 Questions

Bob, I really don't remember, but I think it was from the back seats. I do remember using an articulating 1/4" ratchet adapter (see photo) with an extension and socket to the hose clamp. Very hard to get to. Good Luck.

Oil in the Spark Plug tubes

So, Boat-R-US, what are we looking at? I am sorry, but I don't know where those tubes in your photo come from. I too had oil all over the top of the plugs when I changed them last week. I haven't tried to retorque anything yet. I was checking this forum for additional information and saw this...

    243 VR Bimini Top

Not sure what you mean by "stow", and I have the 22-ft, so I'm not sure if this applies to the 24-ft, but I added a second set of bimini mounting brackets. Previously, the original location left the bimini top just floating and bouncing in front of the seats, which caused binding on the gelcoat...

    Ordered a VRX223

You will have plenty of power, I pulled three adults up at once. I have the same boat without a tower and only twin 200-HP. I wouldn't use a tower with three at once anyway. Might be looking for a fourth this year. Have a blast.

what adhesive to re-apply swim platform matt

Bob, Thanks for the reply. I tried some acetone, maybe it was old, but didn't seem to work and stunk. I also tried electrical de-greaser & Goo Gone, nothing appeared to cut it. So, after looking at the existing mat, it looked dried out and I thought it might be a nice upgrade. With Wills help...

OK, I'm in. Do I send you a PM, or order from website?

what adhesive to re-apply swim platform matt

I am on SeaDek website looking at colors. Are you referring to the "Brushed" and is it 2" or 4" teak? 6mm because 2-color? Do you stock Storm Grey with Black?

what adhesive to re-apply swim platform matt

I have the '16 223 VR. All I have now is the four-piece rear swim deck and one pad on pass through. (5) pieces. If I were to replace everything, I would also add one piece for the top of the front ski locker and one more for the center rear bench seat (in the pass through) since we rarely use...

what adhesive to re-apply swim platform matt

Bob, What did you end up using to remove the old adhesive in order to reapply the existing mat? I am dealing with the same issue. I read many posts of people having troubles removing the existing mat, mine is falling off in sheets and is still in one piece, but the sandy glue residue is a...

    Navionics on Medallion

Micah, Can you please post a photo of your screen showing both the Nav map with the actual depth at the same time? Thanks in advance. Tom.

    Navionics on Medallion

No, there is no "actual" depth reading on mine when in NAV mode. All mine shows on the bottom are the coordinates. Please post a photo of your screenshot showing depth. I would like to contact Chaparral to see if there is a firmware update. Thanks Tom

    3-up Skiing

3-adults. 223 VR with two 200-HP. Pulled them right up, no problems.

    Navionics on Medallion

Yes, it is a pain toggling back and forth to see where you are and depth also. I would love to see a firmware flash update to incorporate this feature.

    Three up skiing

Finally had an opportunity to get 3 skiers up at once. Boat had no issues whatsoever. Looking for four?

    Mooring cover installation?

My 223 VR is very similar, although I do not own the factory cover, it is very much the same as in the video, except the rear cleats are very low on the Chaps, so I use the grab rails in the back and the cleats in the front. One other note not mentioned in the video, is what to do with the...

    Vortex 223 Questions

I had a slight coolant leak (also on port side). I found it coming from one of the through-hull fittings where the hoses connect to the heat transfer plate. I needed to tighten the hose clamps. Hard to get to, but it did the trick. Use a 1/4" ratchet with socket rather than a screwdriver...

    Battery Question

My manual shows the same setup as your manual, however, the actual switch installed is as "blackhawkpilot" states, the Blue-Sea 6011. https://www.bluesea.com/products/6011/m-Series_Mini_Dual_Circuit_Plus_Battery_Switch_-_Red This is the OFF, ON, COMBINE, Not the OFF, 1, 2, 1+2. In...
