    i have not removed them to change the coolant but I will have to soon enough. there is a small amount of 3m sealant that has to be used and the trim tab has a rubber seal as well.... I'm hoping it wont be an issue.

    i agree, not worth the money for your 165. i would not have put them on my old speedster 150.... but for my 215 it makes a huge difference. by far the best modification made to date.

    @poordealguy, I had the same seadoo 15ft boat for years , loved it! started looking at the yamaha 190 and was set on it until i checked out the scarab 215. thank god I went with the 21ft boat. brakes on the trailer, twin engine, lots more room for the kids, handles the chop better and the list...

    why don't you flush the coolant? its a simple process. the drain bolt is at the back of the boat on the ride plate. a cheap option and its sounds like you mixed coolants anyway.... YouTube has a simple video, I believe you need 2 people....

    The amp is grounded to the battery and same with the trim tab. Could an issue with the blower ground cause this noise? Its not even close to the stereo equipment.

    check the fuse. my 215 just blew the fuse this weekend for no reason, it was a 7.5a micro fuse behind the console. also, oddly enough one of the wires to the switch came loose so once i replaced the fuse the switch light worked but no blower until i secured the one wire that came loose. probably...
