    F-35 crash in South Carolina

Yep I'm still here buck. Welcome to Texas I guess, congrats on the move to Dallas area. More of a lurker on here nowadays. An Accident Investigation Board is called when a significant Class A (high dollar amount) accident occurs. If the pilot or crew is at fault they could lose their...

    F-35 crash in South Carolina

In an ejection scenario, standard operations for the wingman (flight lead) is to get eyes on the survivor's chute and orbit their position to effect a SAR operation. The aircraft crash site is a distant priority at that point and all efforts are directed at recovering the pilot and/or crew. The...

    Questions about selling boat

Private party with a lien is not bad. Just go to buyer's bank and they can sort out all the details with the lien holder. I paid cash for boat via bank funds transfer, seller had lien with Yamaha, and we did all paperwork at my bank. Funds were transferred after amount owed and lien info was...

What is the little hex screw next to the fuel cap?

That’s great! Misawa is a cool location especially in the summer. He’ll enjoy it for sure. I spent over a year in that corner of the world and it has always been a bit unstable.

Boat Stuff FS: Boat Guides and Pads (Dallas, TX)

@Markk I would think so. I took them off of my Shorelander that sits under 2020 Yamaha 242S, 24' boat. We can always try a dry fit and also I have the rough dimensions listed above. Just have to drill two holes for each guide. They are rock solid.

Stereo FS: Wetsounds HTX-6 DSP Amp (Dallas, TX)

I have the harnesses pictured and those would go with it. Don’t know anything about your particular system unfortunately. Just realize this is the yamaha specific tuned amp that doesn’t have adjustments and may not be appropriate for replacing a stock system.

show off your guns here(fire arms)

@John McLaughlin VP9 is a great pistol. Grip feels like shaking hands. Just remember it has a a very sensitive trigger, so keep that in mind when holster shopping. I prefer OWB carry and use Alien Gear holsters custom made for the firearm. As for ammo, I like ammoman.com and they have free...

Boat Stuff FS: Snap in SeaDek (Dallas, TX)

@Mikejhl Not sure what you’re implying but the other buyer was @Beachbummer who thought they might work for his 230. I’ve been a member since this boards inception so I appreciate you not trying to make me out to be a scam artist. It’s unfortunate it didn’t work out but this is unnecessary.
