    Suspicious fire at the dock.

Does anyone else’s wakeboard rack not hold their wakeboard tight in ropes because the surfboard sticks farther out and gets the end of the rope?

I’ve got the same style factory racks and the top slot will hold a surf board but the bottom is too narrow and will only fit thinner boards… I agree with changing the angle of the rack or putting something either in between or on the edge of the board; but we’ve not experienced any “slippage”...

Loose bow cleat 2019 Yamaha 242x

Unless you have mirrors or a second set of eyes to lay on the actual bolts; you’ll have to remove more than just the speaker itself it will require removal of most of that sides interior...

Loose bow cleat 2019 Yamaha 242x

Yep agree ^^^ you either have to go little person big extension or remove the speaker the hinges & the seat and the back trim piece that the speaker attaches to is the only other way... Or let the dealer fool with and wonder if they leave anything else loose... Had to go back and re-tighten...

    Anchor for 21’ boat?

Couldn’t quite tell from the pic also I bet the plastic plant supports for gardens that resemble rebar might work as well and easier to cut to fit... How much clearance do you have to the fiberglass there at the front of the anchor?

    Anchor for 21’ boat?

Wondering if rebar or even an aluminum rod coated in plasti-dip would be better than just the un-coated use in the holder...

    Anchor for 21’ boat?

I lined my anchor locker with this doubled up and easily was able to fit my 8lb danforth (back up), my 2.5lb Mantus, and the 20lb box anchor where they truly should be... I feel Yamaha really could have done better in making this access area more user & storage friendly... Dri-Dek Marine...

    Anchor for 21’ boat?

Combination of a 20lb box anchor up front and mantus 2.5lb anchor at rear; both with 6ft of chain... We don’t move once we set on our 212... I would get an 8lb mantus if it fit in the anchor locker like the others do...

    Hit Something Submerged

So just looks like our holiday weekend got cut short on boating. Hit something submerged while out yesterday that did a pretty good number to the keel. Any suggestions? I’m thinking it’ll have to go for a professional repair at this level... It was a rough boating day as also sucked up our first...

Comfortable amount of people on a 212x?

I haven’t towed many skiers but wakeboard, tubing, zup/wake surf; no issues in our X with power at capacity but I do shift where people sit for weight balance as needed...

Yes the kids are training on the zup as it’s much easier to practice the balance without worrying about the rope; and we did the same before picking up the Connelly Ride from Academy on an end of season deal it’s 5’2” and was a deal I couldn’t pass up. As for ballast we were 100% surf side 50%...

    Boat Finance

Yamaha offered 2.99% for the first 60mo. when we bought in ‘17 and it stair steps to 5.99% for the remaining 10 years... We only signed this knowing we were putting half down on the balance up front and planning to pay the loan in full by the 60 month mark before the rate jumped... Glad to say...

We are just starting in the surfing world it makes it much easier to start out to the side of the boat at the edge of the wave rather than directly behind the boat where all the jetwash is at... At least until we get some hours under us and more comfortable to use a longer tow point above the...

The Ropeless POWER of the Slingshot COASTER

Well got it repaired and sealed with plastic weld around the area with the gash after smoothing it out some... seemed to go pretty well and learning to pull up the wife and got the hang of things. Did find that our center locker bag has a quarter to half dollar size hole in it as it was leaking...
