We have been looking to add to our boating options

A new saga begins...bringing a 36' PDQ catamaran from RI to Lake Champlain, after the NY canal system opens in mid May. Many replacement part are ordered, some installed already, others done in the next month or so. Once here we have plans to build a new bimini frame and bimini/dodger with the...

    Overboat personal foiling catamaran (PWC)

Still in development, looks a little slow, dinghy speed, but give it another couple of years. Foiling at 8kts and a smooth ride. May be boring if you just got off a jetski.

What did you do to your boat today?

Thanks, she has cushions down pretty well. She has been adding top stitching and the back cushions will have a horizontal French seam half way up, hiding a pull down, stapled to the backing board, to help keep the the corner cushions round. That french seam will be continuous across all the back...

    2007 SX230 HO only hitting 38mph

Ok, tell me about the oil change. This is a dry sump motor. Where is the oil level on the dip sticks while the engines are off, right now? If the engine has been off for a while, hours, the oil should just be touching the bottom of the dip stick. With these motors You need to check oil level...

    Danforth/Fluke Anchor for a 222

Dealer item. I believe part of a USCG safety package. Not the Yamaha starter kit. I can't see how a dealer can let a boat leave the lot without an anchor on board. https://jetboaters.net/threads/coast-guard-kit.31328/

    Danforth/Fluke Anchor for a 222

I too cut an inch off either end of the stock to fit it in the anchor locker on my AR230. It was an 8# Danforth style from West Marine. If yours is too short, could the anchor resting chocks/lock be moved inward to fit the anchor? I know it is a new boat, but a couple of new holes there will not...
