SW Florida Jetboaters, Did you make it through

Both Things survived without a scratch! Crazy as the green one was very close to the Tesla that got totalled.

SW Florida Jetboaters, Did you make it through

Our first hurricane, we stayed. It was - uh - interesting? I was actually outside (in a protected area) for most of it. Very surreal. We kept checking the Tesla's cameras the first half of the storm, and saw my main entry door break free on one side and was blowing into the car. As soon as we...

Moving to The Dark Side. Pilot House w/F300. Just because... it's Atlantic Northeast.

lol, no doubt. That's why I don't do it very long. I can usually cruise around 33 or so averaging a 14.5 fuel burn.

What kind of fuel burn you get wide open? I'll always make at least one top speed run every time I go out, but cringe when I see the fuel burn, 49.6gph, lol.

I kinda assumed shadow drive was standard on all AP's, but I've never had one before. You have radar? Curious if this AP will route around obstacles and such picked up by the radar.

I don’t usually brag about going to expensive places, but

yeah, not a contest I wanna win either, lol. I was gonna refinance part of it, but have since decided we'll be alright. Crazy to think I just paid more (in cash) for a boat than my first 2 houses combined. And it was an $800 first visit to the fuel dock :depressed:

    Cash out/refi options for boat?

They are the 4.2's, w/ digital controls. Absolutely love em. So smooth and torquey. I'm liking the lightstream idea more and more. Think I'm just gonna pay cash this weekend and then finance 50K or so with lightstream.

    Cash out/refi options for boat?

Absolutely. I was hunting a 25-30' Sea Hunt Gamefish. When the Scout popped up for near the same price, I rushed over and put a deposit on it almost immediately.

    Florida Loop

Yeah, just gotta stick to the channel. I plan boating across this year for the Bimini trip instead of trailering. Just something I've always wanted to do.

    Cash out/refi options for boat?

Twin 250's, 109K Not sure I could double-buy it (from family or whatever) just due to taxes. Lightstream is an option, but it looks like their rates suck. I may float em a call anyway, and just finance half. Survey has to be SAMS certified, otherwise I did think of that lol. Survey is...
