    06 seadoo challenger 215. Mods

I updated to the ET wheel in my 210 challenger when I rebuilt the chargers. I still need to upgrade the impellers to get the benefit of the added hp. Also check your injectors to see if you will need to update those as well. I have 2 sets of the green injectors (42lb) on the shelf since my...

Winterizing a two stroke merc jet engine!?

When I had SeaDoo Challenger with a 240hp Merc, I used a small portable tank to mix up a "fogging" mix. I found it online somewhere, Mix the fuel (non ethanol) with twice (2X) the normal oil mix, I'm thinking it was 20-1, and stabil. Run this mixture thru for a few minutes, it smokes alot...

    Yamaha 210s or Seadoo 210

That 2012 210 is probably the S model with a single 250hp supercharged motor with external intercooler. The supercharger rebuild is really nothing to be worried about IMO. Also this motors does not have the ceramic washers that were an issue in the mid 2000's. Many go 200 hours before a...

    Speakers in my 210

I went with 4 mx770 speakers an a mx500/4 amp. It's a budget system to some, but gets louder than the wife allows. I'm planning to add another pair of speakers in the helm area. Would like to go with the jl m880, to give more low end without adding a sub. I try to buy once, cry once...

The new ACE 300 HP engine. The game has changed!!!

BRP motors are limited during break in, used to be 10 hours not sure on the new 300 ace motors. I believe they use the 161mm pump.

    Speakers in my 210

Check out my audio upgrade thread. I put in JL mx770 speaker cause the stock holes were pretty big for the 6.5 inch. What’s your budget?

Finally put boat in the water todah

The bilge pump is a pita to get to, it's in between the motors in the back. you can place a board across the engine compartment to lay on for better access. The pump should have an auto switch (mine does), and can be turn on manually via the helm switch. It does take a surprising amount of...

    1800 Challenger Siphon issue

are you talking about the hose that connects to the jet pump? I had a 2001 1800 with the Mercury motor, and remember there being a siphon hose, but can't recall if there was a check valve inline. When the engine is running is there still water coming into the boat?

Finally put boat in the water todah

Kevin, Saw your post on the other site. The smell could be just dust etc burning off. Next time out run the blower whenever the motors are running. A good engine compartment cleaning, blowing everything off and vacuum might help since it's been in storage. How much water was in the ski...

    210 Challenger SeaDek

If you order from Jetboatpilot they should have a set that will cover the majority of the snap holes. Before you install do a test fit and if needed you can fill any holes with spectrum paste.

    Leaving boat in the water

BRP recommends not leaving in the water all the PWC and boats since the carbon seals can leak. Many people leave their boats in the water for extended periods, just be sure your bilge works, batteries are charged etc.

The new ACE 300 HP engine. The game has changed!!!

Looks like they have addressed quite a few of the issues. Really like the non plastic exhaust improvements.

    I just bought a seadoo challenger 210

I have the same boat, 2012 210 SE but with the superchargers. Have been very happy with it. I've done a few mods / upgrades, let me know if you have any questions.

    Cruise control

Since they are using "custom" gauges, and looks like they have it setup to go thru the display options with the toggle to go forward / back. Given that I'm not sure if you'll be able to add the cruise module. Looks like you would need to add the mode / set etc buttons. Have you contacted...

    Cruise control

Here's the link, I was looking at the Glastron and they use different gauges then the other brp powered boats I've seen. Does your boat have a mode and set button? Do you have eco mode or docking mode? Can you change the small digital display...

    Cruise control

So I'm pretty sure all the boats have itc, but looks like the "options" are limited. Found a thread on greenhill about how to add ski mode / cruise to any ski, it might be worth a read. I'm surprised the boat brands are not offering the add on module at a usually high "boat" price.

    Cruise control

I'm assuming it does, is there a throttle cable from the helm to the motor, or does the throttle cable go to a "device" under the console.

    Cruise control

Does your boat have the ITC (Intelligent Throttle Control) There was a thread in the Scarab section I think, someone added the plugin module from the BRP PWC's to enable cruise / ski mode but I don't think it worked. Not sure if they needed the dealer or CanDoo to turn the option on.

    Online source for Rotax parts?

For the injector, pull it out and get the part number from the side. It's not a "BRP" injector, my boat has DEKA #109031 48 lbs injectors. It's the 215 hp motor. All the motors with the ITC have the same injectors.

    Welp.... wanted a Scarab

Going on my 3rd summer with the 2012 Sea Doo 210, I sucked up a stick the 2nd time out the first summer, caused a bad vibration, had to work to get it out on the trailer. Not sure the cleanout ports would have helped with how it was wedged in, right on the top of the fin. That was on our...
