    I’m trying to run a wire from the battery compartment to the front area for my Sirius XM antenna. The area is very tight and I need to loosen the panel beside the seat to get the wire up that way. How does the panel come off? Thanks, Terry Gordon

    The big black box in front off the helm is the way you manually override the gate. Take the cover off of it and there are two lever things to push/pull. I read this in the operators manual after trying to do it in the water. The box has two or four wing nuts/bolts you take out.

    I've got a 2016 Limited S E Series. It has the solar panels. When I leave my boat, I usually turn the battery disconnects off. Will the solar panels charge batteries with disconnect off? I do this so bilge does not run. My boat is trailered in my garage. Thanks, TG

    Garage dimensions to fit 242 LS E series

    Door needs to be ten feet high min. You will need to fold the tower and have somebody in the boat to swivel the rack because of garage door openers. My 13 year old is the designated swiveler.

    We have an Old English Sheepdog that loves our Yamaha 242 Limited S E-Series He loves to tube and ride our jet ski too. One of the reasons we own our boat is because he and his little brother can get in and out of the boat with no trouble.
