    Tower lowering/raising ideas!

Thanks for the link! This should work for me as long as it goes up high enough.

    Yamaha AR192 Low Top Speed

The IC swap to the SVHO should be basically plug n play! The only thing extra to do is add another hose out of the SVHO IC with a T fitting. Glad you got it running good regardless. Gel coat repair

I just put a nickel size ding in my gel coat this afternoon putting my boat on our lift at our lake house we bought in March. The lift is a older type that does not lay completely submerged. The front of the lift is exposed which is why I ended up going a little too far forward and made...

Another Yamaha added to the stable!

Very nice.... Nice DRZ SM you got there by the way. Is that a 2013? I just picked up a 2013 DRZ 400SM with 4900 miles, Yoshi exhaust, fender eliminator, and Red Bull graphics in April. Love it! I have also wanted a supermoto, and couldn't hold off any longer. IMG_1013 by josefmd, on Flickr

    Finally happy with my SX192!!!!!!

Yes.... Up until now I could only get something like 41-42 and a little over 7K with my wife and my 2 teenagers. They are older my daughter is 17 and my son is almost 16 and still growing.. I wish I could do 49 with my whole family aboard....

    Finally happy with my SX192!!!!!!

Went to Norris Lake in TN for a a few days and stayed with some family that has a beautiful house on the lake. I finally took my boat out with only myself and my buddy last evening. My boat really does run a lot better without four of us in the boat. Was able to get 49mph @ around 7500 to 7600...

How-To Video: Swap your SHO intercooler to SVHO

With the four us my RPM's are around 7400 give or take a 100. My daughter usually sits up in the bow, or even two kids sometimes. My kids are teenagers, so my penalties with weight are surely advecting my performance..

How-To Video: Swap your SHO intercooler to SVHO

I took mine down to Cumberland lake in TN over the weekend before the 4th of July and put on 10hrs plus. With four of us on the boat I was still only able to get up to 42-43ish......RPM's are still not even close to reaching 7800. Starting to think there might be something else preventing me...

    10 hour service

I agree. However my Home depot special grease gun does not have any info anywhere on the output per pump. Nothing in instruction book, or online. So I based my initial target amount of pumps based on similarly size guns. I didn't over do it, and felt enough resistance to be satisfied enough...

Picked up new boat a day early

Really nice!!! Congrats as well. I replaced my stock roller with a Stoltz also after noticing scuff marks after just a few launches. One of the very first things anyone should do after buying a new boat. The stock Shorelander rollers are garbage.

    10 hour service

Did my 10hr service this evening. I went round and round on the best oil extractor to get, and ended up with this. Got it at Tractor Supply for $35.00. It took a while to extract the oil, but it got the job done without any problems. I used Yamaha marine grease for the bearing housing with...

    SX 192 took on water....Solved..

Yes the 190's and 192's do at least. Assuming all the newer boats are that way.

That's the way I understand it. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I would be nice to have a auto feature as well.

    SX 192 took on water....Solved..

Thanks guys for all the replies! Went out to garage this morning determined to find the cause, and after further inspection I found the left rear drain plug was only screwed in a few turns... :shamefullyembarrased: A total fail on my part. I confess I never checked the left plug, but only the...

    SX 192 took on water....Solved..

No sir!! I have not done the 10 hr service yet. I am currently at 10.9, so I have to get it done ASAP. I hate to take it to dealer for it, but I might have to after this issue. I guess the thing that is bothering me the must is that things were back to normal after the water was vacated.
