    Bilge Failure?

Ok - I guess I'll play with it some more, its just such a bitch to get to, part of me just wanted to replace it and be done. But realistically, that pump has hardly ever been used. Until this last season where it sat outside over the winter, I've never had any water in the boat whatsoever, its...

    Bilge Failure?

Last couple of times out, noticed when I flip the bilge pump on, it lights up the switch for about 5 seconds, then pops the circuit. Never note anything coming out of the side of the boat. Pulled the pump, the strainer was clean, all appears to be in order so I am assuming the pump has failed...

Boat lift adjustment for 242 LS

Unfortunately mine is a dedicated boat house, I'll have to remove the roof structure and raise the sidewalls about six feet and build a new roof to get it to where I want it.

Boat lift adjustment for 242 LS

I have my trailer in storage - luckily my cradle worked just fine for mine without adjustments. In the off season I'll take it to one of my redneck friends and have him rework it to better fit, but its good for a season. I had to take my tower off though, my lift isn't tall enough to handle it.

What thing do other boaters do that annoy you?

Our squirrels stay in the yard, but we do have a mink that runs the boat house.

What thing do other boaters do that annoy you?

Good point, we have a routine visitor that literally fishes off of our dock. A big blue heron. I'm good with him, he is interesting to watch. Not a fan of the geese though, they leave a mess.

What thing do other boaters do that annoy you?

Now that I live waterfront, my views have changed some. I never really paid attention to the wake surfers before, now I hate them. The big wakes tear up my seawall, and are a huge pain when just sitting on the deck of the boathouse, the big waves make so much noise and splash all over you...

For those of you on a lift....

I keep my boat in a covered lift. As it sat outside in the driveway all winter, I have rainwater in the boat. Appears when I go out I end up with water in the head compartment, that I assume is still rainwater that I have not been able to get out of the double hull. I'm assuming when I drop...

    towing from the wake tower

I watched someone pull 3 tubes with 9 people on them from the tower all weekend. Appeared to work ok, but I wouldn't have done it.

AR240 2014 standing water issue in head

Anyone ever figure this out? My boat had always been stored under cover, but this past off season it sat in the driveway instead. I noted the head had water in it when I got it ready for season, and assumed it was due to rain water. I dried it out and put in in the boat lift (under cover)...

    Texoma summer 2019 July 27

I'll keep tabs on this, but we'll have to catch a ride with someone if we come. Mines in my lake on my lift and I'd have to go through quarantine if I put it in Texoma.

    2012 spark plugs??

I don't think he is talking about the plugs themselves, they are clearly not 10mm, I believe they are 5/8. I think he is talking about taking off the coilpacks to get to the plugs.

    2012 spark plugs??

My 2011 uses 10mm to remove coil packs.

    Tower Retrofit to Fold

Cool - thats in line with what I was thinking would work. I need to do some measurements and see if that gets me enough clearance.

    Tower Retrofit to Fold

Hey all - looking at new lake houses, and several on the radar are either on the part of the lake that require me to go under a bridge or have boat houses that won't accommodate my tower. Has anyone successfully retrofitted a forward sweeping non-collapsible tower to allow it to fold? Thanks
