    Don’t worry about the throttle sync, the manual cables will never sync perfectly. If it bothers you, add Ridesteady control for gps speed control and throttle syncing.

    True - Ridesteady is way better, but that’s not right. You can definitely adjust on the fly. Hit the no wake up/down arrows and it will adjust the set speed by .1. Also, get the phone out and load a gps speedometer. On my 242x, when surfing the set speed is about 13 something. But gps actually...

    I’ve been out 4 times this year. Dismal. (Well, 3 out of those 4 were multi day boating trips.) Kids are getting to the ages where they are keeping us too busy for boating. I just wish I could keep it stored indoors. It’s still sitting out in the sun next to the house.

    This won’t fit the 230 out of the box. But Jerry can get you the right pieces. It will just need a different length bar to connect from the tow ring to the ladder bracket.

    What about the forward drive boats? The thing I would miss about a surf boat is the ability to cruise 30 or so mph for a distance. I rarely go faster than that. But, can these boats go that fast for a 2hr cruise? Are the forward drive boats able to?

    I don’t think motors care how much weight. They’ll either pull it or not. They’re designed to run at 8000 rpm’s, where a surf boat engine gets cranky pulling at 3000 rpm’s. 😀

    It’s a bit of work, way more than flipping a couple buttons on a mastercraft or Supra. But, we can run nearly 50mph and those boats can go 30. Lol 2019 242x. Wake Wedge from @jcyamaharider, swim deck ballast bag from @jcyamaharider Here’s a video of me. 400lbs surfing ropeless.
