    LX210 swim platform

Yes the 2 outside brackets were made out of 90 degree, .125 thick al. angle. The center piece i had trimmed a piece of cardboard to get the curvature of the boat and machined the plate to accommodate the arc surface. I then taped it to the hull, added the top flat plate to the swim platform...

What 2 stroke oil do you all use? and Throttle question.

    Gas mix question

only during the intial breakin period. Do you still have the oil reservoir attached to both motors? That will supply the correct amount of oil. It would not hurt adding a small does of oil to the gas when boat sits over a winter season.

Please help to diagnose the engine problems with LS2000

It can easily be your plug wires, if they are original I would have them replaced. They will arc out when under higher stress loads. Check the heat sensor on the pipe also. Jet Ski Solutions, Jet Ski Parts, Custom Jetski Parts, OE Jetski Parts, Stator, Electrical Box, Wiring Harness...

    Wakeboard Tower

Measure twice if not three times for sure. Three people is ideal so you can move it back or forward and mark the spot. i always wanted to add ballast bags and try to obtain a surf wake. I have done it behind wakeboats, it's a large surf and not sure if this particular model boat will produce...

    Wakeboard Tower

Viper, Not sure of the dimensions but I attached a picture for your review. My bought is 1 hour away and won't use to Labor day. The cutting boards - I believe I bought a small/medium size cutting board and cut them in half for each location. I attached some pictures for your review. I have...

    Wakeboard Tower

I was not able to open or use my bimini top, i just removed it. At some point I may mfg a new one that sits on top of the tower but not on my top list I would recommend 3 people to help layout the tower for positioning, measure , measure, measure and cut once. I cut two round access panels...

    Dual Battery

@Rufusthedog Hello, Yes I did have to cut the side of the plastic to allow room for the wires and connectors. I'm not sure what the power block system I used was, it was in the same area as the ACR unit. My boat is up on the Potomac in Harpers ferry. With all the rain and flooding I have...

    Any 2 stroke experts?

I agree with the Makuni carb kits only. I replaced my 701 superjet cylinder with an exchange unit from SBT with specific bore size( I had a crack/waterleak just below the piston line) . I had no problems to date - 2 years old. Converting my LS2000 to a 4stroke has got my attention @boudin...

SBT has a complete exchange kit, new cylinder bored out to your liking with pistons n rings. just need a core. You may have additional issues if you warped the head.

    Adding a 2nd battery

Either side works fine, you just have to buy longer cables and mount the electronics somewhere. If I decide to remount the oilier, I will move the electronics and re-add the 0il tank. I always stored 7 life vests in that open area. No matter what i was legal if someone didn't bring or grab a vest.

There should be an inline fuse on the red wire for accessories, check there first. it may have popped the reset buttons on the dash also. I'm located in Ellicott City, Md. big o's fan just hard to watch these days.

    LS2000 steering upgrade

I am planning to remove the steering box in my boat and review the mechanism guts, I am assuming it has 2 gears. I would like to redesign the gear box to provide more leverage/turning capability then what is all ready given, plus there is a lot of backlash in the steering wheel. I was going to...

2000 LS2000 reupholsterey in Detroit area.

$2200 is reasonable, I had quotes up over $6500 when I did mine. With the right material it shouldn't be an issue re-upholstering. My vendor seamed the back rest, picture attached for review. When he did the front seats he seamed the bottom cushion as one, not 2 separate cushions. This will...

ls2000 engine not running at full capacity

Download the ls manual, it explains how to check the ohms for the plug wires and sensor. If they are original it may be the root of the problem. You could switch / swap the complete ebox out or just swap out the coil packs. You will have to open both eboxes to just switch coils. My old...

ls2000 engine not running at full capacity

Sounds like you have a pecking list, great input group. 1. Sensor 2. blockage 3. plug wires / you may have a broken/ fatigues wire. if original I would definitely replace all six 4. Carbs ? just rebuilt, are settings correct? 5. Maybe swap your ebox to make sure it's not electrical/bad cdi...

Please help to diagnose the engine problems with LS2000

I agree the boat won't go 42 mph at only 3500 rpm. it could be just the tach as mentioned. Have you tried manually reving the motor from the carbs. Maybe a linkage came loose or needs adjustment. If your prop or wear ring is worn you won't reach the 52 mph mark either. New wires will help...
