    Transducer problem

FYI - I got my new transducer installed so Im back up and working again. My faulty transducer did not cause the alarm to sound on my boat. The temp gauge was still working, the depth just flashed zero all the time but no alarm. I’m happy to ship you the one I removed pretty cheap if you just...

    New transducer

Not too bad… I removed the clean out tray for easier access and then removed the hose leading to top of water box. I just loosened the clamp on the motor side if the water box to slightly move it over then could see the transducer directly below. Total probably about an hour including reassembly.

    New transducer

Thank you… I was hoping that is the case. I won’t be able to get it to the water until next week so this is helpful to know. Will update though

    New transducer

I just replaced the transducer in my ‘16 242 Limited S because it wasn’t reading depth (water temp still worked and no alarms). Replaced with the Yamaha specific model and haven’t had a chance to launch the boat yet - however the depth is still flashing 0 when boat is on trailer. Does the...

    Transducer problem

I don’t know how to permanently silence it but I ordered my replacement through a yamaha dealer September 2021 and just received it this week so almost a year is what it took to get it so maybe you will get yours before next boating season at least. Sorry I can’t help on the alarm, just offering...

    Transducer

I ordered my transducer on 9/14/21 and just got an update today indicating a “confirmed ship date” of mid December 2021…. Thats better than the July 2022 estimate Yamaha gave when I ordered it a few weeks ago. We shall see…

    OEM Depth gauge flashing “zero”

Ive searched the forum and only answer I can find is replace the expensive transducer. Is there not a simple fix or maybe a bad fuse for the depth gauge? Been flashing “0.0” the past four outings on the boat. The transducer surface on the bottom of hull is clean. If must replace transducer...

Boat Stuff GPS Antenna Cover Replacement - White No Logo

Before and after install pics. My OEM cover was not broken but had faded into a yellow color that did not look appealing to me. Install is quick and easy.

    Crooked on Trailer?

Im assuming you already checked the bunks on the trailer to make sure they are resting on same place of the boat on each side and ensure one of the bunks is not resting on one of the ridges of the boat? Is the boat crooked on the trailer or is the entire trailer sagging on that side possibly...

You may try posting this in the general discussion thread... more folks will see it. Problem could be generic to the jet pumps and maybe not specific to your particular model. Good luck

    Help with choosing a battery

If Im understanding the “group/series” correctly, it never hurts to go with a bigger series, just costs more, right?
